Filled in: It seems the former Oasis front man is still pretty upset with his brother Noel Gallagher and isn’t going to be making any time to go to his wedding. When asking if he will be attending his brother’s wedding, Liam Gallagher replied the following: ”No, I’m busy playing gigs in Chicago. He goes on about how he wasn’t invited to my wedding. No one was at my wedding but Nic’s mum and my mum. Get over it, mate. I’ve not been invited to his wedding. I’ll be in Chicago.” So basically this probably just makes the two of them even… there’s still the matter of breaking-up the band that either Liam of Noel Gallagher will have to be making up for.

German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld has compared newly-wed Kate Middleton to the likes of Lindsay Lohan. Karl believes the 29-year-old young bride is like troubled Hollywood starlet Lohan, 24. He said: “Kate is a young, modern woman. She’s a Lindsay Lohan and she wasn’t going to miss her moment.” However, Lagerfeld, 77, did hail her Alexander McQueen and Sarah Burton wedding dress as ‘elegant and chic’. Commenting on today’s wedding ceremony for French television, he said: “It’s a bridal gown of very refined detail, much more refined than the one Diana wore. “Alexander McQueen’s dresses are always very elegant. It’s very pretty, and relatively classic, but that goes with the decor, with a little touch of the 1950s that recalls Marilyn Monroe or Queen Elizabeth II’s dress. “The lace is pretty, especially the embroidered veil and the tiara not too high, without too heavy a bun. It’s ravishing and the length of the train is perfect.” He added: “It’s all elegant and chic – you don’t need to be born a royal princess to be like that.”

Two billion people are expected to watch Kate Middleton tie the knot with Prince William next week giving it the biggest live TV audience in history. The couple will marry at Westminster Abbey on April 29 and the whole world is expected to be watching them as they make their vows. It is thought it will be the most watched TV event in history taking over from the 1966 World Cup Final, which was seen by 32million people. If two billion people do tune in then it will double the amount of people who watched the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics in 2008. And three times the amount of people who saw Prince William’s parents, Princess Diana and Prince Charles, marry in 1981.

Of all people, Prince William will most likely be the last person to see Kate Middleton in her stunning wedding dress. This is because on April 29, William and his best man brother Prince Harry will spend time before the wedding in a chapel at Westminster Abbey until she arrives – without seeing the TV coverage of her travelling from the Goring Hotel to the Abbey. Nearly two billion TV watchers around the world and spectators along the route will see Kate – but not groom-to-be William, 28. Although there has been endless speculation about who will design the 29-year-old’s dress, people are to be left in suspense until the big day.

Kate Middleton’s great-aunt believes she is “too good” for the royal family. The 29 year-old will be marrying Prince William at Westminster Abbey on April 29 but her grandfather Ron’s older sister, Alice Goldsmith, is concerned at her young relative marrying a royal. According to UK newspaper Daily Mirror, Goldsmith said: “I think she’s too good for them. I don’t think she knows what she’s letting herself in for. I wonder how she’ll end up?” Goldsmith was speaking on the new Channel 4 show Meet the Middletons, in which Kate’s distant relatives speak about the wedding.

Fashion designer Vivienne Westwood has admitted she disapproves of royal bride-to-be Kate Middleton’s style. Westwood, 69, was recently in Los Angeles to open her new shop and gave her opinion to The Insider.com about Prince William’s future wife. When asked what kind of wedding dress she would design for Middleton, 29, Westwood said: “Well it would very much depend on her, she doesn’t seem to be very adventurous at the moment. “Hopefully she’ll take the opportunity of being young and good looking and do something about it one day.”

It seems the singer is pretty keen on getting an invitation to the royal wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton. This is what Cheryl Cole had to say about this particular hope of hers: "I’ve met William a couple of times but never Kate. I can’t wait for the royal wedding – hopefully I’ll be watching from an aisle! I’m going to ask Prince Charles where my invite to the royal wedding is. I think it got lost in the post, there must be a delay with the Royal Mail." Well, well, it seems that Cheryl Cole isn’t above pulling a few strings to get into the wedding… but why shouldn’t she? After all, she is a notable element of the UK’s economy.

Prince William has reportedly held a secret stag do. When Prince Harry was given the job as best man, it was widely thought that the party would involve hitting one of the top London nightclubs. But according to The Daily Telegraph he organised a secretive party believed to be at a friend’s country estate in Norfolk. The guests are said to have included James Meade, who William met at Eton, and Thomas Van Straubenzee, who went to Ludgroe Prep School in Berkshire with him.

Britain’s most-watched couple Prince William and Kate Middleton have reportedly made a discreet visit to Westminster Abbey to sort out the musical arrangements for their wedding. William, 28, and Kate, 29, arrived at the chapel set to serve as the backdrop to their April 29 nuptials on Monday night. When they were inside they are said to have sat in a pew a few rows from the altar while an orchestra and a boy’s choir rehearsed. A royal source told British newspaper the Daily Express that the couple were advised by Prince Charles about what music to have at their wedding.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are set to be given a marriage bed made by social enterprise factory Glencraft. The royal pair will marry at Westminster Abbey on April 29 and it’s claimed that a number of people in the factory that are blind and disabled will make the bed and it will be sent to Balmoral. The company has previously made furniture for Balmoral Castle and has been given a royal warrant. Andrew Laing, from Glencraft, said: “As an organisation, we decided we’d like to give the royal couple a gift to celebrate the occasion. “Buckingham Palace have indicated they would be willing to accept something from us, and we’re delighted.”
