More than five years after he was charged with child pornography, R Kelly is getting his day in court.  Judge Vincent Gaughan has set down Sept. 17,2007.  Since being charged so many years ago, Kelly has been busy making money.  Six best-selling albums and three nationwide tours.  How savvy of his dream team seeking delay after delay, he now has enough cash to pay them the big bucks they are going to want to be paid to get him out of this mess he’s gotten himself into.

Kelly, whose real name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, has pleaded not guilty to 14 counts of child pornography. The charges go back to 2002 when he was accused of allegedly engaging in videotaped sex acts with an underaged girl.

Kelly’s attorneys have not admitted that he is on the tape, but are saying that his likeness may have been computer generated. They have also tried to raise doubts about the age of the girl as well as her identity. Yeah Right! What a bold face liar!

The 40-year-old rapper has said he’ll survive his legal troubles.

“I’m going through my own struggle … and you’re either gonna fold or you’re going to stand,” Kelly told The Associated Press in 2005, “and I believe in standing.”    Thank God there are no more delays or else he might have needed a cane to do so!

Celine Dion new album will be dropping some time in November! She has worked with quite a few people on this album and I think it may be pretty hot. R. Kelly, Timbaland, Ne-Yo, and many more. Many are saying this will be be the album of the year. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
