Filled in: In yesterday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres show, Pink confirmed for the world that she is indeed pregnant with her first child. The pop rock singer said “I didn’t want to talk about it because I was just really nervous and I have had a miscarriage before, but if I was going to talk about it with anyone, it was going to be with you [Ellen].” When asked about the baby’s sex, Pink told Ellen that she didn’t want to know until the time comes but that the doctor implied that it was a girl. That bit of news actually scared Pink as she explains “I’m terrified because she thinks it’s a girl. My mom had always wished me a daughter just like me. I’m terrified one of us will go to jail.”

The couple will be holding a private ceremony this summer during which they will be renewing their wedding vows. A source had this to say about Pink and Carey Hart’s upcoming ceremony: “They want to have a ceremony at their house in Malibu on the beach at sunset. It will take place in early summer and will be very simple and small, with just their family and a few close friends.” Why do people renew vows they never broke I can’t imagine. Or, if they broke the vows, what’s the point of renewing them? Redemption is not that easy to attain and then again, it’s not like Pink or Carey Hart are in that much need of it.
