Madonna turns 50, and what a career she has had. She is most definiteley controversial, but I have to say I do enjoy her music and respect her as a business woman. As the saying goes she is often imitated, but never duplicated!
Her hubby dropped some major cash when he bought her a diamond necklace and earrings set from Bulgari worth $500,000! That was the elegant part of her present, the romantic touch was a rose he named after Madonna that he supposedly placed in a vegetable patch. Her daughter Lourdes, 11 designed her a dress apparently.
Justin Timberlake reportedly gave her a very practical gift of golfing vouchers and numerous media outlets had birthday cakes delivered to her home in Marylebone, central London.
Madonna is listed in Guinness World Records as selling 120 million albums and 40 million singles to earn the title of the most-successful female solo artist.
Her Sticky And Sweet world tour kicks off on August 23 in Cardiff.
I couldn’t believe my eyes, Pink in a dress! The occasion? She hosted a baby shower for Lisa Marie Presley. Page Six is reporting that she supposedly went around to high end boutiques asking for donations… I really don’t believe that though as she can afford to buy her a nice gift.
The baby shower was held at The Little Door Restaurant in Los Angeles this past Sunday. She loos very feminine and girly in a cream dress and strappy brown shoes.
Amy Winehouse gave a fantastic performance at Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday concert in Hyde Park tonight.
She sang renditions of Valerie and Rehab to the over 46,664 member audience.
Her signature Beeutiful beehive, a cream and black mini-dress, black eyeliner, and golden tanned skin showed she seems to have bounced back from her recently health problems.
As well as celebrating the South African president’s 10th decade alive, the shindig also aims to raise money for his 46664 AIDS charity - named after the prison number he was given during his 27-year incarceration in Robben Island.
Britney was looking really rough as she strutted around braless in a purple coloured dress. I am not sure if the picture was just taken at a bad angle, but Brit looks terrible. Her hair is not up to her regular weave standards.. and her face just seems off for some reason. I am not sure if Brit ever had a boob job, because her boobs are way too saggy for `cosmetic work`.
The ceremony was celebrating it’s 21st year, and is organized by Viacom Inc-owned kids cable channel Nickelodeon. Jack Black hosted the festivities and he said more than 88 million votes were cast online. Here are some pics of some of the celebs there.

Hilary Duff was out partying at Hyde last night. I am not of fan of her attire in this picture. The hat and the long necklaces aren’t my thing. Maybe she just didn’t have enough time to wash her hair before she went out so she just threw on a hat. She was apparently just in New York visiting her cutie boyfriend Mike Comrie and then came back home for a night out.
Amy Winehouse was nomiated for 6 Grammy’s this year… and what did she do to celebrate? She went to the store and binged on snack food! I wonder if she will throw it all up later?? Hey at least she is clothed, is looking somewhat decent, and is not crying!
Buzz Bishop of 95 Crave in Vancouver interviewed Avril this morning. Here are some of her thoughts about British journalists and the Internet :
“Whatever, you’re just talking about the Internet. You want me to clear some stuff up for you? Alright, here’s the deal. Today, you know, we live in a world where like people are extremely negative. The Internet is very negative. There’s a lot of websites and stuff, not naming any in particular. But, I don’t know. People are like obsessed with celebrities and they’re obsessed with them failing and doing bad. Personally, I haven’t failed. I haven’t done anything wrong. I feel like I’ve worked really hard and I’ve accomplished a lot. I know a lot of people are like getting DUIs and freaking showing their crotches in paparazzi pictures and going to jail and doing all this crazy stuff and falling. I personally think I’ve kept myself together pretty good. There’s a lot of negativity and I have a record out right now. It’s unfortunate that anytime there’s ever big news, it’s always negative. And I’ll guarantee you anything you’re reading is false.
Everything you read is like false. Sometimes like people have quotes and say things that I didn’t even say, and that’s what they like to do in the UK. They make up artificial quotes and they put them in the magazines. Like Q magazine had all these false quotes that I didn’t put. And the press over here made a big deal about it. A lot of it just ends up on the Internet. People are looking to attack. It’s really unfortunate.”
Seriously… like… she needs to… like… increase her vocab. Then again, she does spit on the paparazzi, so… like… probably not! Not to mention she called up Perez Hilton practically crying on the phone for him to be nice to her. So obviously she cares about the internet and what people say about her. Oh and here is Avril drunk in the backseat of some car flashing the paparazzi her panties!

She is definitely no longer ‘Americas pop darling’ after all those crotch shots came out. It is odd that Britney and her friends think that she is sweet and innocent. She is anything but! Sick thing about this is, Kim may go for Britney just to gain some popularity for awhile. Maybe they can be BFF’s/Lovers!
