At least this is the case as far as his bride to be is concerned. It looks like there might be a bit of a difference of opinion with regards to the wedding between Nicole Richie and Joel Madden. This is what the Good Charlotte musician said on the matter: “It’s the same thing as our engagement, we’re kind of doing it at our own pace. We have no idea right now. According to her we’ll have a really big wedding. According to me, it will be really small.” The obvious solution here would be a medium-sized wedding, but why go with the middle-ground when Joel Madden and Nicole Richie can just squabble away about the details. Let the conflict commence!

Actress Nicole Richie and husband Joel Madden have tweeted from hospital about their new born son.
Richie, 27, who is still in hospital after giving birth to her second son Sparrow James Midnight Madden, took to her Twitter page to excitedly express her love for her family.
She said: “What a great day to come back on Twitter.
“Thank you everyone for your well wishes. I love my family!!”
Madden, 30, also wrote on the social networking site.
The singer said: “1st day of his life & my son is already a trending topic on twitter.
“That’s right son, ur just like your old man.”
An official statement on Nicole’s website said: “He weighs 7lbs 14oz. Nicole, Joel, Harlow and Sparrow are all doing well. Thank you for all of your good wishes.”
Sparrow will join his big sister Harlow Winter Kate.

The star is not planning to get married with the rocker from Good Charlotte anytime soon. Talking on “Larry King Live”, Nicole Richie said: “When I was a little girl I dreamed about getting married and that is definitely still a dream of mine one day. But right now, we’re really, really focused on our family, we’re focused on our foundation and as far as feeling that need of commitment, we both really have that in each other.” You can obviously see the logic in all of this… after all, what does marriage have to do with commitment or family? Still, I’m curious about what Joel Madden says about all of this because he sure seems to be keeping quiet about the whole thing.

Nicole Richie was spotted waiting for an elevator. She’s looking so stylishly dressed for a pregnant mom to be. I haven’t seen any waif thin pregnant women in my neighbourhood wearing stilettos and clingy dresses like this outfit. She looks like she’s ready to walk the red carpet.
Joel Madden her boyfriend and father of her children tweeted last Friday:
“So Last night I ended up playing poker till 3 a.m. Thank God for my awesome girlfriend who let me sleep in today.”
Seems like they are still in love!

Benji called into the Ryan Seacrest radio show and had this to say about his boo:
“I’m so beyond happy,” says Benji. “When you’re that happy, you think about everything. She’s my best friend. I’ve never been so happy. Nothing worries me in life anymore. When you find that best friend, that love, all your worries kind of go away. Your work gets better and everything you do, you have someone supporting you, and she’s that for me. I’ve never been supported so much. I’m a lucky guy. Her family is so nice to me. And now the four of us, we all … it’s great, you know.”
Seems like a match made in heaven! Twin brothers hooking up with best girlfriends?!

Star Magazine reported that Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were planning their wedding. Not so says the ‘groom to be’
Joel Madden set the record straight:
“So i feel really stupid even posting this, but i’ve been getting calls and texts from my family all week asking me why they weren’t invited to my wedding. I guess the only answer i could give them was that i didnt know we were having one. So i just found out that star magazine wrote some story about a 2 MILLION dollar wedding we are supposed to be having, and thats where it came from. Sooooo if you were pissed at me for not inviting you or even telling you, dont blame me, theres nothing to worry about. Its just star magazine. How long do you think it will be before they write we called it off, or we broke up? i give them a week or two……”
Point taken! Now if he would only learn to use punctuation!

Lionel Richie was in Santa Monica to accept the “Icon” honor at last Sunday night’s taping of the TV Land Awards, when he received a different round of applause for being the dad of daughter Nicole.
“Forget about surviving 40 years in the music business,” he told the audience. “Just surviving 27 years of Nicole Richie has been a struggle-and-a-half, I want to tell you. I stand here as a survivor, I want you to know, for all the parents out there.”
Guess he is still recovering from all the nonsense his daughter put him through in 2007. Nicole served 82 minutes in jail after being convicted of DUI of drugs. She was arrested in December 2006 after witnesses reported seeing her Benz SUV driving down the wrong way on a freeway in Burbank, Calif.
Nicole, who became famous in her own right for her stint on Fox’s “The Simple Life” along with Paris Hilton, has been behaving herself ever since. Well sort of… she gave birth to her daughter Harlow with Joel Madden three months ago.
The sixth annual TV Land Awards are scheduled to air June 15 on the cable network.

Paris is seriously a walking billboard for her new bf’s clothing line. Here she is flanting quite a bit of cleavage along with the Madden Boys DCMA shirt. It kind of reminds me the Stars and Straps type stuff especially with that font. Even Nicole who is married to Joel isn’t strutting around in their new clothing line! I am kind of sick of all these ‘celebrities’ getting into the fashion industry. Don’t they have enough money!?

Paris Hilton spoke about her best buddy Nicole Richie’s newborn, Harlow Winter Kate Madden, with Us Magazine at the Sundance.
I’m so excited! I’ve sent her all these presents. I’m going to spoil her!”
It’s the coolest name ever. I’m like, ‘That is the coolest name, oh my God!’ I wouldn’t even think she would have thought of that. It’s a beautiful name.
Nicole is so into it. She always knows what’s cool before it happens.
I love how Paris is trying to make the name Harlem ‘cool’ for Nicole. I think it is kind of an odd name for a baby, but there have been worse. Isn’t one of the celebrities babies named ‘Apple’ or something along those lines? At least Harlem is a bit more catchy. I really can’t wait until the Reign of Paris is over, I am really starting to get sick of everything she does. Just look at her outfit, I just want to vomit! I even like Pink, but her outfit has just got to go.
