To kick off her new film, Cadillac Records, Beyonce and her mother Tina Knowles made a special appearance at the 59th Street Bloomingdale’s in New York City today.

Anyone who bought a dress from their House of Deréon Dress collection received an autographed copy of the Cadillac Records soundtrack featuring Beyoncé (a month before the release of the album).

The Cadillac Records movie premiere is on Monday, December 1st with it hitting theatres on Friday, December 5th.

I’m not loving B’s hairstyle but the dress so suits her womanly curves. She looks fabulous.

Take a peek at Christina Aguilera’s new “Keeps Gettin’ Better” music video. The song is the first single off her upcoming greatest hits album Keeps Gettin’ Better - A Decade of Hits.

The director for the music video was Peter Berg, the same director of the movie Hancock, which starred Will Smith. I think the point to the video, is that she is traveling through time and fashion to show case her ten year career.

“I really enjoyed making the video for ‘Keeps Gettin’ Better,” being an artist who likes to play around with different looks, it was a lot of fun to portray various characters within the same shoot.”

Gwen Stefani went to an early Halloween party this past Saturday night dressed up as an egg — prepared sunny side up. Kind of inventive, ‘cracked’ me up! Her hubby Gavin Rossdale dressed up as a slice of bacon. Here he is using his costume to cover up baby Zuma from the paps on their way home.

Earlier in the afternoon Gavin performed at the VH1 Save The Music fundraiser which was held at the Esquire house in Beverly Hills.

Ahh, the life of the rich and famous. Here is MJ getting out of a limo at the home of his long time friend Elizabeth Taylor. Nice to see he dressed for the occasion, he’s in his jammies.

His new compilation album King Of Pop has re-entered the top ten of the album chart just this past week. The dramatic jump happened after contestants on Saturday night’s TV talent show X Factor were asked to sing some of his hits. The album’s release was timed in conjunction with his 50th birthday.

He recently just moved into a mansion in Las Vegas with his three children and the home is located just metres from a school which takes pupils aged four to 13.

This has upset parents of the 600 children at the school and they have complained about his choice of residence.

One parent told The Sun newspaper: “Some parents say they don’t want their children near Jacko.

“They say he can see the kids getting on the school bus from his house.”

According to the newspaper, Jackson and his kids are being put up by casino owner Steve Wynn who is trying to persuade the shy star to appear in a comeback show.

Area residents say that the superstar has not been to the school and keeps a low profile, surrounded by a team of bodyguards, but since his arrival, fans have been congregating outside the gates of his Spanish-style villa.

A school spokesman refused to comment.

Sean “Diddy” Combs strikes a pose with his twin girls, D’Lila Star and Jessie James for the October cover of L’Uomo Vogue’s music issue. His daughters will turn 2 years old in December and they are adorable. The man has his own fashion line. Why didn’t he design something for his baby girls to wear other than bow ties? What look did he think he was going for here? Generally speaking, nakedness donning just a bowtie = SEXY photo. Baby girls don’t wear bow ties. The whole premise behind this photo is for it to say “Sexy” which is not appropriate with babies. If he wanted to convey “Dads can be sexy too” … he missed the mark in my opinion.

Diddy sat down to be interviewed for the cover story and he shared his thoughts about the upcoming presidential election, and how important it is to vote. He also chats about his many successful businesses and the evolution of inspiration in creating music.

Diddy said:

“The concept of ‘Black on Black’ in this story represents a level of strength, a level of beauty, a level of sexy and chic that I really want to portray. It’s the future. And it’s not just a race thing; it’s almost a redefinition of the color. Think about how ignorant people actually make the color black represent something negative. Black is so beautiful, I see it in everything I am, as a person, as a man, as a fashion professional. Black is beautiful.”

I’m just wondering why his other child isn’t on the cover?

Lil Wayne is shown here holding up his Lyricist of the Year award during the BET Hip Hop Awards ‘08, this past Saturday in Atlanta. Ever the professional, he made sure he left in plenty of time to make the hearing for his weapons case in New York today.

A cop testified last month she boarded Lil Wayne’s bus after a concert because she smelled marijuana. She said that while on the bus she saw him try to hide a gun.

His defense attorney Stacey Richman wants the charges dismissed. She says police falsely claimed they smelled marijuana so they could illegally board the bus.

TMZ who had a staff member present in the court room reported an amusing snippet of detail:

” Our guy in the courtroom says everyone got an impromptu Marijuana 101 lesson in the process.

Not everyone was so stoked - our spy says Wayne sat, head in hands, watching his lawyer battle to get the case skunked.”

Nelly Furtado confirmed during an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Friday that she secretly married sound engineer Demacio “Demo” Castello this past summer. They had worked together on her 2006 album “Loose” which included her hits “Promiscuous” and “Maneater.”

The couple had been engaged since last year.

Nelly who is 29 years old has a four-year-old daughter from a previous relationship that ended in 2005.

She said:

“We got married July 19th, “I love it.”

She went on to say: “It’s a nice phase of my life. I just feel kind of free and relaxed and more in tune with trying not to be so stressed out,[I'm] trying to enjoy things a little more.”

She also added: “I’m happy … I’m excited about the future.”

Congrats to the happy couple.

The Apprentice boss Donald Trump, gave his opinion with regards to the reports that Madonna could lose half of her $500 million fortune in her divorce from director Guy Ritchie because the couple do not have a prenup.

The Donald who himself has been divorced twice told Life & Style:

“I always thought she was smart — until now.”

I myself just read this on England’s policy on pre-nups:

“In England and Wales the courts have traditionally given little weight to a prenuptial agreement, and have viewed the enforcement of prenuptial agreements as being against public policy.”

The Donald isn’t the only one down on Madonna, her soon to be ex-father-in-law John Ritchie had this to say to The Daily Telegraph :

“She is being beastly. She is saying, ‘Did you ever love me?’ It goes back to a time when she fell off her horse, and she’s blaming him for that. She’s calling him an emotional retard. When he’s being bashed by her, it’s horrid.”

*sigh* Must be awkward and embarrassing to have one’s divorce become public knowledge although, she didn’t help matters by dissing her ex in concert the other night!

Katy Perry sang the song that has made her famous at the MTV Latin Awards last night and finished off her performance by jumping into a huge cake. When she tried to leave the stage, and she did try she kept slipping and falling with her a** kissing the floor.

She was very playful and fun and clearly had a sense of humor about it.  Unlike  Beyonce, who had this happened to her probably would ask security to confiscate everyone’s cell phones and cameras to prevent it being linked to YouTube!

Just read this latest blog entry by Taylor Swift who was recently dumped (by phon) by her ex, Joe Jonas. At the end she says she’s just sitting around eating cool whip and trying to think of things to do with her time… kind of sad isn’t it? I also found it interesting that she was listening to Kelly Clarkson’s song called Low which is about someone doing something low. I wonder if she was thinking that his breaking up over the phone because his “people” told him it was what was best for his career being one of the lowest things to do. Then again, he is still a child and that is what children do. A man would have broken it off face to face.

AMA’s and life.

Hey guys!

I’m so excited, you got me nominated for an American Music Award this year!! I’m nominated in the “Favorite Female Country” category. Thank you so much for making that happen for me again this year!! It’ll be so cool to go to the AMA’s again. I’m performing, and I have so many ideas that we’re working out for the performance. And hey, I’ve never won an AMA before…….. Maybe this year? In other news, I just got back from a 5 show run on the road. Now I’m sitting in my kitchen..on the counter. Eating cool whip. And trying to think of things to do with my free time. Other than talking to my cat and making playlists of sad songs. Sad songs are awesome, by the way. I’m also editing a new video, so expect that to be up here in a few days. Tomorrow I do more album media preparation/interviews/taped performances/blahblahblahh for album release week. Basically what you do around an album release is you start taping things way in advance, so they can air on TV when the album comes out. So we’ve been doing all of that for months. Then my best friend, Abigail, is coming in from college (she’s too far away. I’m trying to convince her this whole college thing needs to work around our friendship and not be so time consuming.) Then this weekend, we play in Nashville with Rascal Flatts. And every day, my album is closer to being OUT. Yesssss.
