Miley Cyrus’s new Hannah Montana movie opened in theaters all through the U.S. this weekend and raked in $34 million at the box office, easily putting it at #1.
This fantastic opening makes it the 2nd biggest Easter opening of all time, behind the $40.2 million take of Scary Movie 4 in 2006.
Congratulations Miley, she’s obviously doing something right. It’s a very entertaining movie, the kids love it.
Rihanna wearing J Brand “912 wounded knee” jeans in dark vintage was out with her assistant Melissa Forde for dinner at Da Silvano restaurant in New York City’s West Village last night and afterwards, the two went to see a movie.
Earlier this week, Rihanna and Melissa were seen at a Honolulu Airport in Hawaii this past Wednesday. No one really saw much of her out and about in that sunny state as a guest at their hotel said:
“Rihanna hasn’t left her room except to go to the studio.”
Here she is in the Bahamas today. Way to rack up the frequent flyer miles and leave a carbon footprint!
Her boy Chris Brown is due in court Monday to face the charges against him. Wonder if she’ll show up there?
Jennifer Lopez and her friend actress Leah Remini, who stars on the TV show “King Of Queens had a girls day out shopping together at Frances Klein Classic Jewels on Saturday (March 14) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
They enjoyed the afternoon together, getting VIP treatment when the store temporary closed so that they could shop in peace and privacy without being disturbed by regular folks!
With the economy as it is, Jlo being followed around by paps while going on shopping sprees may seem to be extravagant. It’s been awhile since the public has seen pictures of her at some of the charities she lends her support to where she is actually doing something to promote their causes although she probably does her good deeds out of the celebrity spotlight.
Jennifer Lopez is pictured here walking into the Bowery Hotel in downtown NYC yesterday to have dinner with her manager Benny Medina. Seems she has done what she said she would and that was to take a year off with the babies and then get back to work. Many other celebs have stated they’ll take time off, but end up going back to work after just a couple of months.
She recently spoke to In Touch Magazine. When asked about Britney’s breakdown, Jennifer said:
“That was painful to watch.”
She went on to say:
“I understood the pressure she was going through, having been through a divorce, having money, having people depend on you. It will destroy you.”
Jennifer also revealed how she and her hubby Marc Anthony handle disagreements that come up during their marriage:
“If one of us has a complaint, the other one has to listen, no matter how difficult. We have to see if we care enough to change it and if we do care, then we have to change it.”
Yes it is true that the public pressure that celebs go through because of their fame can be difficult, but they have the wealth to help them cope. It needs to be said that non-celebrity people who don’t have the financial resources that stardom gives also face real pressure and difficulty. Many of them go through health problems, divorces, financial crisis and survive, they are not destroyed.

Britney spent some time with her sons yesterday, Thursday, at Disney World in Florida. They really seem to be having a fun time together as a family… which is nice. She’s gone through a very difficult time with her breakdown and now that she is back on track and has the love and support she needs to continue to get well, I wish her nothing but the best for health & success both with her personal life, and with her tour.
She’s still under a LOT of pressure being a single working mother who is supporting not only herself, but her family and a massive team of people. It can’t be easy being under a microscope.
After her Disneyland day of fun she flew to Atlanta and put on quite the show. The fans there loved her!
The Jonas brothers haven’t been raking it in as expected despite their surprise ‘pop in’ appearances at various theaters throughout the US showing their movie. It was projected that it would rake in $30-$40 million at the U.S. box offices, but instead it earned Disney an estimated $12.7 million dollars.
After coming in at #2 in the U.S. box office over the weekend which is a major disappointment, they have now also failed to win the #1 spot for album sales, sitting at #3 with the soundtrack for their 3-D Concert Experience.
The brothers sold 30,000 copies LESS than their label projected. They managed to unload only 53,465 units.

Joe Jonas’ ex, Taylor Swift!!
Revenge of the ex-girlfriends is sweet news to all of their fans.
Taylor’s latest album, Fearless, moved over 20,000 more copies than their album, and as we all know, she dated one of the brothers and was dumped. So she must be feeling pretty dam* good right about now. Her fans’ crazy love for her record has kept her at #1 for the 11th week now, selling 74,635 copies – a 19% gain from the week before!
The other ex, Miley also did waaay better with her movie’s box office opening! Miley Cyrus’s Hannah Montana 3-D earned almost three times the amount of the brothers and it was only played in about half as many theaters.
There are doubts as to whether this picture of Madonna is real or photoshopped. I think it’s real as she has had lots of pics showing her fur since she was much younger. Her love of ferocious fur seems to be one of her trademarks as a nude picture of her furry privates from her younger years just sold at auction for over 35k.
She may have always been hairy, or it could be that she is in the peri-menopause phase of her life which causes estrogen levels to fall resulting in more facial hair.
When someone is as obsessed with their looks as she seems to be it confuses me as to why she doesn’t mind a hairy face? With her millions she has so many options, she could use facial bleach, or creams to dissolve the hair, get her face threaded, waxed, lasered, or have electrolysis… yet she chooses not to.
She apparently does not want to work out less and spend more time at the beauty shop!

He makes it look so easy being sassy don’t he? Living off his ex-wife’s money? This man seems to know NOTHING about working for a living. His major talent seems to be getting women pregnant. He needs to get a life and get a job and start supporting his children with his own $$$ rather than Brittany’s.
Hopefully Britney continues to do well, regains custody of the boys, and won’t have to keep paying him spousal support anymore. All those trips to Vegas seem to make him look as if he’s had way too many trips to the “all you can eat” buffets.
Mariah and Nick are seen here leaving Mr. Chow last night in Beverly Hills. Not sure why she is taking her shades half on and half off, maybe she’s going to hold them in position and pose for the paparazzi?
I’m a wee bit disappointed though, her dark roots could use a touch up. Her makeup looks decent which is a nice change for her, although the lack of b**b support is a disappointment. In most every picture of these two, I always see devoted Nick holding her upright in every photo taken over these last several months, sort of like a boy scout helping an old lady cross the street!
An ex of mine tried to walk me like that when we first started dating until I was like… hon, I’m not a baby, I can walk all by myself. You can hold my hand though!
