A fund-raiser over the weekend in memory of Jeffrey Steele’s 13 year old son Alex Le Vasseur, who died last year in an ATV accident had a surprise guest- Miley Cryus.
She jumped up on stage and asked if she could sing “Simple Song,” the song originally recorded by her and the only song written by Steele that was on his son’s iPod when he died.
A person who was at the event said:
“When Jeffrey introduced Miley, all the kids who had been skating in the park next to the concert just rushed the stage. She was so full of energy, she just looked adorable. Jeffrey was clearly very touched by her appearance.”
It was a very thoughtful gesture on her part, one I’m sure his parents appreciated.
Brooke Hogan does an interview in the latest issue of US Weekly, and… well it’s just sad.She failed at her attempt at being a singer, and now admits to a failed mother/daughter relationship. The rift is because her mom is now dating one of her former school friends, 19-year old Charley Hill:
“Honestly, I don’t know what to say because I can’t relate to her right now. I’m extremely shocked. I know if I was 48-years-old, I wouldn’t date a 19-year-old. I just don’t feel it’s her. And through all this stuff, I really need my mom, and she’s doing her own thing. I don’t talk to her anymore. I see her at the jail visiting Nick and she asks me why. I say, ‘I don’t condone what you’re doing. I’m on my path, and you’re on your path.’ I told her, ‘I’d love to have you in my life, to see you and talk to you, but the kind of things you’re surrounding yourself with, it doesn’t make sense to me.”
How embarrassing for her. Both of her parents are dating or have dated former friends of hers.
Here is Britney strolling through West Hollywood with what appears to be a baby bump! It might just be the dress people as I don’t think Britney is banging anyone at the moment. Unless KFed got some, and we know how powerful that guys sperm is!
Britney doesn’t look too thrilled in this picture, but at least her hair is starting to grow out a bit. It almost doesn’t look like a weave, but rather just a rats nest! On second thought, her hairline looks as though it is receding a bit, do you think it is from all the pulling the weave does?
Angelina has lent her voice to a public service announcement for World Refugee Days. It is an emotional appeal.
She’s been a very high profile Goodwill Ambassador to UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, for the past several years. As well as the video, she is writing an article for a “major” US paper, also due out Friday.
Benji called into the Ryan Seacrest radio show and had this to say about his boo:
“I’m so beyond happy,” says Benji. “When you’re that happy, you think about everything. She’s my best friend. I’ve never been so happy. Nothing worries me in life anymore. When you find that best friend, that love, all your worries kind of go away. Your work gets better and everything you do, you have someone supporting you, and she’s that for me. I’ve never been supported so much. I’m a lucky guy. Her family is so nice to me. And now the four of us, we all … it’s great, you know.”
Seems like a match made in heaven! Twin brothers hooking up with best girlfriends?!
Tommy Lee is going all out to make his relationship with ex-wife (they divorced in 1998) Pam Anderson succeed.
She has been a vegetarian and animal rights activist for years, so to prove his love he has given up eating meat:
He said,
“Pamela and the kids have moved in with me. It’s awesome, man. It’s definitely working. just went vegetarian (and) I dig it, I feel lighter, I like it.
I figured that this is something I hadn’t done yet but wanted to. At this point in my life, I’m down to trying anything I haven’t done yet.”
She’s got to appreciate his thoughtfulness, I mean, the man is giving up steak!
Tommy told Rolling Stone, “Pamela and the kids have moved in with me. It’s awesome, man. It’s definitely working. You can tell on the kids’ faces — they’re happy when we’re together.”
Motley Crue have been busy in their studio rehearsing for the CrueFest Tour this summer. Wonder if the happy family will be going on the road with the band?
This is a classic example of ‘recycling Hollywood style’ ! For some reason, I’m happy for them and their two boys.

David Cook beat David Archuleta last week in the “AI” finale, after more than 97 million votes were cast. David cook won by approximately 12 million votes.
Usher’s rep denies (to People Magazine) that the rumors of the pair splitting up are 100% false.
“Usher and Tameka are currently traveling in Europe together as a family on his promotional tour in support of his album Here I Stand, available May 27,” he added. “This rumor is completely false.”
I guess the reports were wrong…. Unless the rep is trying to keep it under wraps someone is lying to the press!
