Leo DiCaprio secures restraining order against alleged stalker

Leonardo DiCaprio has been granted a temporary restraining order against an alleged stalker. The Hollywood star asked a judge to keep Livia Bistriceanu away from him after she repeatedly attempted to contact the actor by email, in letters and in person. DiCaprio told a Los Angeles Superior Court judge that he was ‘frightened’ of the Chicago woman and that he feels that ‘my personal safety, and personal safety of those around me is in jeopardy’. “She maintains a delusional belief that she is my wife and carrying my child, Jesus,” DiCaprio wrote in a statement to the judge. DiCaprio claims that Bistriceanu travelled from Chicago to Los Angeles at least twice to try and meet him at his home and business office. When confronted by his security team she allegedly refused to leave and acted aggressively. The documents state that the woman, whom DiCaprio says he has never met, has been placed on a psychological hold on two occasions. DiCaprio was granted a temporary restraining order that keeps her at least 100 yards away from him.

Leonardo DiCaprio says he is ready to wear a dress to play controversial FBI director J Edgar Hoover.

The Titanic star has been tipped to play Hoover in a movie directed by Clint Eastwood.

Now the star has confirmed that is his plan – and he is happy to don a dress to play Hoover who was rumoured to cross-dress in the 1950s at homosexual orgies.

Asked about the movie plan, Leo said: “It looks like that maybe what I’m doing next.”

And as for the dress wearing, he laughed: “Hey, look if the part calls for it, I’m going to do it.”

Environmentally-friendly stars led by Leonardo DiCaprio are calling for America to use cleaner energy in a new internet video campaign.

The Titanic actor joins Edward Norton, Forest Whitaker, Chace Crawford, Justin Long, Jason Bateman, Felicity Huffman and Emmy Rossum in the This Is Our Moment video for the NRDC Action Fund.

They are urging the US government to pass the first-ever climate and clean energy bill to cut carbon pollution and use alternative sources of energy.

The stars say it will create jobs for Americans and stop the US from buying oil from countries “that don’t share our values and kill our soldiers”.

NRDC trustee DiCaprio said: “This is our moment – our moment to fight for a cleaner and more secure future.

“The time is now for people across the country to stand up and have their voices heard.”

He added: “We must call on the Senate to act on this historic opportunity.”

The This Is Our Moment video campaign allows Americans to upload their own videos to support the campaign and send emails directly to their MPs.

Beefcake poll ranks Daniel Craig’s torso as tops

Beefcake Daniel Craig has taken out top honours for the best body in a movie part in an online poll of star torsos.

The Lovefilm poll put the 007 actor at 34 percent of overall votes, while Sean Connery came in fifth. Number two went to Hollywood hot property Gerard Butler, a Scottish actor recently linked to Jennifer Aniston, for his role in 300.

Brad Pitt’s role of Achilles in Troy ranked him at third.

Sacha Baron Cohen and Russell Brand made it onto the list, as did American comic Hank Azaria for a role as a hunky beach-resort diving instructor in Along Came Polly.

The beach-based roles of Leonardo DiCaprio in The Beach, Elvis Presley in Blue Hawaii and Jan-Michael Vincent in surf classic, Big Wednesday, were also recognised.

Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio has been spotted taking Jesse Metcalfe’s ex-girlfriend Emma Miller out on a date in London.

Leonaro, 34, is rumoured to have split form Brazilian girlfriend Bar Refaeli and has now been spotted with Emma.

He reportedly took her out for dinner at Collection in South Kensington, London.

A source said: “The pair arrived separately and Leonardo was very keen not to be photographed. They left 10 minutes apart, and Leo then made his way to Maddox nightclub in Mayfair.

“His car stopped, and just when it looked like he was going to get out, it sped off again. He must have had a last-minute change of heart.”

Hot couple Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaeli have called it quits once again, according to reports.

The on-again off-again pairing have recently been seen apart and this time the split may be for good.

“They’re taking time off for the time being, they’ve split,” a source told People.com.

“It could just end up as a break but for now they’re doing their own thing.”

According to a Refaeli source, the model’s desire to get serious may have caused the actor to have doubts about their relationship.

“She wanted to move faster than he did, she wanted to move in together,” the source reportedly said. “So he broke it off.”

Last weekend the 23-year-old swimsuit model was seen walking a red carpet event in Hollywood on her own and refused to talk about DiCaprio.

Meanwhile, the Titanic star was seen at nightclub Avenue in New York that same night – reportedly getting close to another woman.

“He was standing at the bar in front of everyone talking to a girl the entire night – and it wasn’t Bar,” said one onlooker.

“It was in no way behavior for a guy who has a serious girlfriend.”
