Even though she didn’t get the job at the US X Factor, Jessica Simpson will be a mentor on the NBC reality series “Fashion Star”. This is what NBC’s executive vice president had to say about Jessica Simpson being on the show: “With an almost billion-dollar lifestyle brand under her belt she is sure to be an excellent mentor to our up-and-coming designers.” Well it certainly looks like the singer’s new bosses approve of her. Who needs Simon Cowell when you can have NBC?

The singer who recently got into a relationship with NFL player Eric Johnson apparently snagged herself quite the social partner. Her sister, Ashley Simpson, who apparently double dates with Jessica Simpson and her boyfriend had this to say about the NFL player: “He’s just really easygoing, they’re a fantastic couple. We’re definitely, like, all a big family, so we double date all the time.” Jessica Simpson must be in a very happy place right about now… hopefully she’ll stay there longer than she has in the past. Her record with relationship isn’t really on her side when it comes to holding on to something good.

The singer seems to be trying really, really hard to put herself back on the market. Recently, Jessica Simpson listed all of the qualities she expects from a man: “I want a confident man. A man who understands me and can deal with my life and is not embarrassed of my life. And can support my life. And allow me to be a powerful woman. And allow me to be powerful in the relationship. I’m not going to give up my role in this life to just be a housewife. What is attractive to me about a man is a man’s spirituality. Just the way that he carries himself. I kind of like a rough man a little bit. A man’s man.” And this is all coming from someone who has agreed to have kids with her best friend at a well specified time. Jessica Simpson sure does change her standards pretty damned easily.

Most people might have let this whole bit go by now… but not Jessica Simpson. It seems that John Mayer’s comments in that already famous Playboy interview of his still haunt the singer and actress to this day. This is what Jessica Simpson said on the matter: “My phone has been ringing. It’s more embarrassing. I’ll walk into a restaurant or something. I’ll walk and feel like men are looking at me – but I feel like they’re undressing me.” Right, like John Mayer had to say something about how Jessica Simpson is in the sack for men to start doing that. She probably loves the extra attention and just doesn’t want to admit it. Or maybe there is still a bone to be picked and this is the perfect pretext to do so.

Jessica Simpson can add model to her resume as the failed singer and actress hit the runway as the special guest model at the Ozlem Suer fashion show last Friday which was held at the Porte de Versailles in Paris, France. Jessica Simpson country singer paraded around the catwalk in a ruffled black halter dress. She’s no stranger to the fashion world as she has her own clothing, handbag and shoe line. I think she should stick to these types of careers when we don’t have to focus on her face much or what she’s saying.

Jessica is in NY for her performance with Rascal Flatts that was held at Madison Square Garden last night.
What a difference a pink skirt and tanned legs look on her! Sooo much better than those high-waisted mom jeans that made her look like a much older cougar.
Of course some of the other celebrity gossip sites say she’s been dieting and wearing spanx, so whatever the girl does, she’s going to get called on it.
As for Tony wearing jeans and sneakers while she’s wearing a skirt and pumps… he’s dressing for comfort, she’s dressing for style.

John Law’s review of Jessica Simpson’s performance at the Avalon Ballroom in Ontario,Canada on Wednesday:
“Simpson needs to explain in exhausting detail what every single song is about, and the endless banter kills any momentum. She’s still living in a reality show, convinced everyone is so fascinated with her personal life, they’d rather hear her talk than sing.”
He went on to describe how Jessica said she was pregnant with an alien and that she also had a message from God about one of her songs. She talked about Tony Romo and slammed Nick Lachey for being a “cheater.”
Jessica even admitted she has a farting problem:
“I do pass gas a lot. I guarantee it smells like roses.”
What is wrong with her? The girl’s gone country. She farts, she burps, she drinks beer, she talks way too much, and she seems to enjoy wearing gingham way too much. Every time I see a picture of her rocking gingham fashion it makes me think that she has taken another tablecloth out of her linen closet and sewn herself a new outfit. Yee haw!

Jessica Simpson is dying for the country community to love her. So now she is strutting around with a cowboy hat all the time. Here she is sliding into a pool, with a cowboyhat, giving some sort of strange face. The picture isn’t stellar quality but it is good enough for me! BTW her bathing suit looks like a bra!

She thinks she is smart, because she drink smart?
Sitting on top of bales of hay hawking a new beer doesn’t make country girl Jessica look intelligent. It makes her looks somewhat like an actress doing a promo ad for a porno with those pouting lips, peek a boo top and sleepy lidded come hither look she has going on. I just don’t know how anyone would care that Jessica thinks drinking beer is a smart choice!
The ads reads:
“I work out and take care of myself. But I also like a cold beer once in a while. That’s why I made the smart choice with a smart beer. Stampede Light, it’s beer plus.”
I wonder how successful this ad campaign will be? The plus is that it contains vitamins. Will her fans be stampeding to buy? No doubt she’s hoping they do as she has a 15% stake in it.
I’m not so sure this is a such a great career move for her as she’s always been such a good girl but what the heck do I know nor do I really care.

Jessica Simpson’s new country album cover is out. The name of the Album is ‘Do You Know’. She looks decent in the shot, although it is probably photoshopped to sh*t. She has a nice white dress on, with some brown cowboy boots to give her that country girl look. I wonder how well her album will do… considering the scathing reviews that are out for her current single.
