Robert Pattinson was the most heard of name when it comes to talks about an upcoming Jeff Buckley biopic but a different actor was chosen to play the legendary rock singer. The role was instead given to “Gossip Girl” star Penn Badgley. It couldn’t have come at a more opportune time as Penn has actually been trying to find a way to leave the “Gossip Girl” image in the past and get into more serious acting with deeper roles. Playing Jeff could just help him do that. Congratulations to Penn for landing the role. As for Robert, you win some, you lose some.
Audrina Patridge has admitted that she allowed film crews to record everything – even a break up from then boyfriend Corey Bohan – for her new reality series. The 25-year-old former Hills star has so far kept quiet about her reasons for splitting from the BMX racer back in March, but said that all will become clear in her new show, Audrina. She told People, “You’ve just got to move on, and sometimes you’ve got to think about yourself instead of trying to people-please. On the show you’ll see what led up to our break-up. There’s a reason for everything. “I honestly did not say ‘no’ to anything they wanted to shoot. They caught everything on camera, so it was very organic.”

Actor Ed Westwick has denied reports that he is set to leave the US show Gossip Girl. The 23-year-old star was in London for the premiere of his new movie Chalet Girl, which he stars in alongside Tamsin Egerton and Felicity Jones. He was asked if he is leaving the show and he said to OK.co.uk: “That was kind of taken out of context, what I actually said was that I wanted to maximise my time but I had agreed to do other projects as well.” Westwick said he still loves his character Chuck Bass and has no plans to leave. He said: “No [I'm not leaving], I’m having a fantastic time with Gossip Girl, great character, great cast and I live in New York City.”

Gossip Girl actress Kelly Rutherford has opened up about her feelings for her on-screen husband played by actor Matthew Settle.
“We love each other … as friends!” she told E Online.
Both Rutherford and Settle have gone through divorces recently, but the actress denies that the chemistry between the pair continues when they’re not in front of the cameras.
“You do it so much in the office that you don’t need to do it when you go home,” Rutherford said.
The actress who plays Lily in the hit teen show also had words of advice for new single-mum Sandra Bullock.
“I think it’s such a wonderful thing … to have this beautiful little boy in her life and focus on him,” she said. “It’s certainly helped me through a tough time.”
Rutherford is mum to son Hermes and daughter Helena.
