Christina Aguilera has confirmed that she is separating from her hubby, music exec Jordan Bratman, after five years of marriage. The 29-year old powerhouse pop singer said “Although Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max remains as strong as ever.” It’s always the kids who suffer in these kinds of situations so I hope that Christina and Jordan do keep their commitment to Max and at the very least maintain a friendly relationship to make sure that he grows up in a stable environment. At the same time, I also hope that they could find it in them to work things out.
Courteney Cox and David Arquette have confirmed they have separated after 11 years of marriage. “We have agreed to a trial separation that dates back for some time,” the duo said in a statement E! Online reports. “The reason for this separation is to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage. We remain best friends and responsible parents to our daughter and we still love each other deeply. As we go through this process we are determined to use kindness and understanding to get through this together.” The couple, who met on the set of Scream in 1996, recently reprised their roles from the original slasher flick for the upcoming fourth instalment in the horror franchise. They are parents to daughter Coco, six.

Jenny McCarthy admits she had doubts during her five-year relationship with Jim Carrey despite being deeply in love. The actress and former Playboy pin-up spoke to Oprah Winfrey about their breakup for the first time. She claimed she had no regrets but admitted she never sold her own house after moving in with the funnyman. “Those moments where you saw us together, was it love? You’re damned right it was,” she said. “The problem is there wasn’t a photographer when the times were rough.” McCarthy said she held onto a gut feeling that they would not be a couple forever. “I would say I maybe had a little bit of an internal knowing because I kept my house. I never sold it when I did move in to Jim’s house.” McCarthy, 37, who has an eight-year-old son Evan with ex-husband John Asher, split from 48-year-old Carrey in April this year after dating for five years. She told chat show host Oprah Winfrey how they began questioning their romance after the fun element disappeared.

Jenny McCarthy has revealed how she split from actor Jim Carrey after their relationship lost its “fun” factor. The former Playboy model told chat show host Oprah Winfrey how they began questioning their romance after the fun element disappeared. “When it’s not fun anymore, you need to start investigating and do an inquiry into the relationship,” she said. McCarthy, 37, split from 48-year-old Carrey in April this year after dating for five years. The couple insisted the break-up was amicable, with McCarthy saying she would “always keep Jim as a leading man in my heart”. Carrey added that he was grateful for the “many blessings” they had shared. McCarthy, who has an eight-year-old son Evan with ex-husband John Asher, has now discussed their split further during an appearance on Oprah Winfrey’s US talk show. Oprah caught McCarthy off-guard by asking whether she and Carrey could get back together. “God, another good question,” the model said. “I didn’t even think about that one.”

The ongoing battle between Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva, the mother of his love child, has taken yet another turn.
Grigorieva is now alleging that the multi-millionaire actor is not paying child support for their eight-month-old daughter Lucia, according to reports.
The Russian musician, 40, told The Mail on Sunday that the “cruel” actions of the Braveheart star, who is thought to be worth around £600 million ($905million) are forcing her to live off cash borrowed from friends.
Speaking from her home in Los Angeles, Grigorieva told the UK newspaper: “He is not paying me a penny. Nothing.
“There are so many lies being said about me. I was trying to keep things dignified and be respectful to the father of my daughter, but what he is doing is cruelty.
“I am having to live on credit cards and borrowed money. It is not a good situation.”
A US website reported on Friday claims that Gibson had taken out a restraining order against Grigorieva. But she said: “There is no restraining order against me, but my lawyers went to court and a judge granted a restraining order against him.”
A clerk at Los Angeles Superior Court confirmed the restraining order against Gibson had been filed but added that the case would be heard by a judge sitting in-camera this week.
Gibson’s spokesman last night declined to comment about Grigorieva’s claims.

Jesse James’s former wife Janine Lindemulder thinks the Monster Garage star is expecting his wife Sandra Bullock to take him back, according to reports.
“He believes that Sandra will take him back in time and that they just have to stay apart for a while for the sake of her public image,” a source close to the situation has commented.
Bullock has filed for divorce from James after his alleged infidelities were revealed.
“Janine feels that Jesse was left scarred towards women after his own mom abandoned him when he was only 7-years-old,” Radar Online quotes the source as saying.
“As far as Janine is concerned Jesse is just a master con artist who was trying to manipulate the situation for his own ends.”
Lindemulder and James, who were married for two years, have a daughter named Sunny.

Gabriel Aubry’s friends insist he split from Halle Berry because he couldn’t handle her nagging.
Friends of the model insist Halle continuously berated him, often over how little he made compared to her, according to RadarOnline.
And they insist he ended the relationship: “He just knew it was time to bring things to an end.”
Money was a big part of the split because the model could never even aspire to match the multiple millions Halle can make with just one movie.
“Gabriel is by no means poor,” a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.
“He makes a good living as a working, in-demand model. He earns in the region of $700,000 a year, a great income by most people’s standards, but still considerably less than Halle is able to bring in for a movie or one of her endorsement deals.”
The source added: “When they first got together, it wasn’t an issue – they were in the first bloom of love and neither of them gave it a second thought.
“But as time went on, though, Halle started getting dissatisfied with how much Gabriel was earning and started nagging him to contribute more.
“This really grated on Gabriel – he basically put his career and his acting aspirations on hold when Nahla was born so Halle could concentrate on her career, and now she was berating him over it. It was like he couldn’t win.”

Tiger Woods’ pick-up line was a joke he had been using for at least 13 years. “What’s this?” he would ask, rubbing the tips of his shoes together. “A black guy taking off his condom.”
Woods had gotten flak for using the off-colour joke in 1997 in front of a GQ reporter – but was still using it later to pick up mistresses.
Exotic dancer Cori Rist says after the joke, Woods then invited her to come up to the apartment of a “superstar ball player”, where he had a room – where they had “passionate” sex.
But although Rist insisted there were “fireworks” in bed, she insists the golfer was more like a jealous schoolboy when they were not together.
“He was very jealous, and from the moment I’d wake up, he’d be texting: ‘Who’s with you? Are you alone?’ ” Rist told Vanity Fair magazine.
“It was almost like high school, when you call someone all the time.”
Despite their intimacy, Woods always insisted that they sleep at opposite ends of the hotel suite.
“We’d watch TV and hang out on his side. But he was really weird about me sleeping in his bed,” she said. “Maybe it was a wife thing. Maybe if she called or if someone came in, they would see us together.”
Another mistress, Joslyn James, also found Woods jealous – and says he even tried to get her to give up the sex business.
She says the golfer – whom she insists she taught “extreme sex” to – became obsessed with all her adult-film scenes and internet appearances.
