Levi Johnston has written a $21,000 child support cheque for Bristol Palin following her successful court petition, according to reports.
The funds will go towards the upkeep of the pair’s one-year-old son Tripp. According to reports, Palin’s lawyer confirmed that Johnston’s lawyer recently delivered a cheque for $21,561.12, which was the full amount that an Alaska judge had ordered him to pay.
Johnston, a Playgirl cover model, initially claimed that his income was too erratic to meet Palin’s demand. He is currently ordered to pay $1,750 a month in child support.
A rep reportedly said: “The money came out of his pocket.”
Cheryl Cole has given estranged husband Ashley rights to the couple’s two chihuahuas, Coco and Buster.
The tiny pop singer, reeling from the implosion of her marriage, has given Ashley temporary custody of Coco. The dog is a paranoid schizophrenic, according to the UK Mirror.
The paper reports Buster will accompany Coco until the Coles, who have separated, work out the dogs’ future arrangements.
A source said: “They want to sort this out as amicably as possible so, to keep the peace, Cheryl is allowing Ashley to spend a few days with them when he gets back to the UK. But she’s not willing to drop them off in person – it’s simply too soon. Instead, Ashley has arranged for a car to pick them up from their home and take them to his makeshift apartment in London. He will have them for a few days and then the dogs will go back to Cheryl. In effect, they have negotiated an ad hoc custody agreement. Cheryl won’t stop Ashley from seeing the chihuahuas but, long-term, she does want them with her.”
A last-ditch attempt by the mother of Ashley Cole to thaw Cheryl Cole’s resolve has failed, the UK Mirror reports.
Cheryl, who has officially separated from the star footballer, would not be moved by the overtures of her mother-in-law Sue.
A source close to Cheryl said: “Sue has been trying to act as intermediary between Cheryl and Ashley, and doing her best to help them patch up their differences. She loves Cheryl and obviously hates seeing her son hurt.”
Ashley was reported last week making desperate phone calls to his wife, who had dumped him in a text message after revelations of his alleged sex-texting surfaced. Initially, Cheryl was unable to take calls – even from her mother-in-law – and was reported starving herself on a diet of peppermint tea.
The source continued: “But they finally spoke and Cheryl made clear there is no going back. The marriage is over and she can’t take him back. They spoke calmly and fondly to one another and there was certainly no screaming or shouting.”
James Cameron’s ex-wife Linda Hamilton said the famous director left her for Titanic.
The 53-year-old was married to Cameron for two years before they split in 1999 and she was given a settlement worth £30million.
Talking about the reason for their split, she said: “Titanic was the mistress he left me for.
“He was the kind of man who really would rather be at work with the mistress than at home with the wife. That was hard to come to terms with.”

Aging rocker Ronnie Wood was set to divorce his estranged wife Jo in London today.
The Rolling Stone will be granted a decree nisi in the High Court. Wood, 62, left Jo, 54, after 23 years of marriage when he met a Russian woman, Ekaterina Ivanova, 21.
Jo, meanwhile, fell off the rungs of Strictly Come Dancing. The UK Mirror reports she is likely to reap a divorce settlement to the tune of at least £5million ($8.4million).
Jo is an ex-model who lives in the family home in Kingston, Surrey. She launched herself on Strictly Come Dancing to give herself a boost, she has said. “It made me go out and do something for myself rather than him,” she said. “I really believe if you challenge yourself in life it makes you stronger.”
Wood meanwhile has had fiery episodes of squabbling with Ivanova reported in the press.
Mel Gibson offered his wife Robyn Moore a $1.3 million sweetener to keep his image intact when his marriage was not, an Australian report says.
Gibson is said to have offered Moore, with whom he has seven children, AUD$67 million a year to stay by his side – after the separation.
The pair are believed to have been living apart for up to three years.
Moore filed for divorce in April, reportedly after discovering Gibson’s Russian girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, 39, was pregnant.
The details of the payout came to the surface due to the out-of-court settling of a lawsuit over the movie The Passion Of The Christ, but the Gibsons refused to comment, the report says.
The mother of Mel Gibson’s Russian girlfriend has denied her daughter broke up the Hollywoood superstar’s marriage.
Oksana Grigorieva’s mum, Lyudmila Chernukha, insists Gibson’s marriage was already over by the time he started his relationship with the aspiring singer.
But she would not comment on reports the couple are expecting a baby.
Chernukha, speaking in Russian from her home outside Moscow, told People magazine: “He split up with his wife three years ago, so to suggest that she has broken up their marriage is rubbish.
“He was no longer with his wife so he was bound to meet some woman at some point, it just happened to be Oksana.”
Asked about the pregnancy speculation, she told People: “I can’t say anything.
“Wait for the official statement from them.”
Gibson’s wife of 28 years, Robyn, filed for divorce in April citing “irreconcilable differences”.
She did not give a date when they split.
Gibson says in court documents the couple separated in August 2006, less than a month after his notorious DUI incident.
Gibson, 53, and Grigorieva, 39, confirmed they were dating when they made a surprise red-carpet appearance last month at the Hollywood premiere of X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Gibson’s spokesman has declined to comment on the pregnancy reports.
Katie Price has thanked her fans for support during an “awful time” following her split with husband Peter Andre.
The 30-year-old model is currently out in the Maldives with her two youngest children while husband Peter, 36, has flown to Cyprus to be with his family.
Katie posted a message on her Twitter page that said: “im still keeping a dignified silence i have made no comments they are made up im heartbroken i never wanted any of this we all miss Pete.”
She added: “this is such a awful time for us an i really appreciate all your mesages an support.”
It was recently claimed the couple have set a date to meet in the UK to discuss the future.
