JLo and her devoted hubby Marc arrived to a Dolce & Gabbana party in Milan in the style truly fitting the diva she is! They rode in on a horse drawn carriage. Actually, make that 4 horses and a golden carriage!

I had to take a second look to make sure… yes it is… she’s wearing a little veil. What happened to Jenny from the block?! I’ve noticed she has this same pose, same pout, same ‘look at me glaze- eyed expression’ on most of her pictures lately. What’s with him and the sunglasses at night? Does he think he’s cool?

Did she do something to her lips?

Here she is posing for a private photo-shoot with Greek-born photog Spyros Poros at the sacred Acropolis in Athens.

Jennifer in a fabulous flowing gown is holding herself up between two huge pillars of the ancient Erechtheion, on the north side of the Acropolis.

She was in Greece for a single concert on Saturday, wearing three outfits for her performance, including a white Charleston-like dress, a black body-hugging outfit and a gold-coloured short dress with black knee-high boots.

The woman is a diva, no doubt about it!

She looks like a hybrid… a cross between Grace Jones and a gold version of the Michelin man…with glitter! Not flattering in any way, shape or form.  Miss Jackson! You’re nasty for putting that outfit on!

Photographer Patrick Demarchelier had a photo shoot with Britney yesterday for Vogue. Well now, things really are looking up for her. Imagine that, Vogue. I’m impressed with Conservator Daddy Spears, he’s really done his job guiding his daughter who has made great progress these past few months, gone are the days of her wearing trucker hats!

She has been looking much healthier lately with the most noticeable improvement being the weave scene, and is apparently back in the studio working since she told OK! Magazine she’s having a new album set to drop in December:

“It’s my best work ever.”

Makes me wonder though… what about all the people who struggle with depression all the while managing to tow the line on their road to recovery? None of them will ever be rewarded the way Britney is being rewarded and welcomed back now. Shame for them really.

I think she’s past the daddy hand holding stage and is back on track… somewhat. It concerns me though that she loses her kids,  goes off the deep end, and now she’s posing for one of the most highly regarded fashion magazines ever and winning music awards!

What is wrong with society?

Lopez sat down for an interview with Elle magazine for their October issue. She had lots to talk about as she looked back on the magical experience of becoming pregnant and the life-changing experience she wanted to fully enjoy. She made an important decision after she finished her concert tour with husband Marc Anthony last fall when she told him she needed him to step up and take over:

“I said, ‘I did the superwoman thing, I finished the tour – now I need you to take care of me,

“‘I love doing things for you; if I’m not cooking, then I’m picking out a shirt. But this is the first time in my life where I’m just going to be a little bit selfish,’” she told Anthony. “‘I don’t know if I’m going to have kids again, so I want it to be a beautiful experience. I don’t want to have any drama. I want to just be smiling every day.’”

JLo is currently in training for her first triathalon, told that neither of them worried during the four years of their marriage that she didn’t get pregnant:

“We knew nothing was wrong with either one of us – I had been checked, and he had kids already,” she told Elle. “I knew [that] something’s not ready here, in my head or in my life, and when it is, I know it’s going to happen.”

She describes the magical moment that she realized she was indeed pregnant:

“I was sitting down doing hair and makeup and I felt a flutter. The weirdest little … flourish. My makeup artist said ‘What’s the matter?’ I didn’t say anything, but in my head, I was like, I have life inside me!”

To commemorate the experience of being pregnant Lopez commissioned a special gift for her hubby– a book of photos of herself. She says:

“I was like, ‘How am I going to rock this moment of my life? … I felt very womanly. Marc was in a dream. He loved it.”

The babies are now 6 months old. Time sure has flown by! She seems happy and content and still in love with him… so he must be doing a fine job as husband and father. Good on him!

Oh my, how embarrassing. Ricky Martin’s babies’ surrogate mama is a serial surrogate — but she is choosy on which clients she works for. Guess she likes livin’ la vida loca since he was special enough to be selected to rent her womb.

She is apparently a 26-year-old mother who works for an agency that hooks up surrogates with clients and Ricky’s twins are her third surrogate (and second set of twins) and get this… she says her womb isn’t open to Britney Spears or Michael Jackson. No surprise there …

TMZ is reporting that they were told that Ricki and the woman only met a couple of times, and contact between them was mostly through phone and email.

Here is a peek at one of the pieces from Beyonce and her mom Tina Knowles’ jewelry line. They have partnered with Carolee, the same company that also produces jewelry for Lauren by Ralph Lauren, ABS by Allen Schwartz and Brooks Brothers.

The mother and daughter team are creating a complete collection of jewels which includes earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings. They’ll be made of man-made pearls, crystals and various metals.

“I am so passionate about jewelry. As both a designer and a stylist, I know the important role jewelry plays in completing your total look, ” Tina Knowles said in a released statement.

The prices range from $16- $68 which is really affordable. Check out The House of Dereon’s new jewelry collection at major department and specialty stores which should hit stores next Spring 2009.

I’m not into snakes so this piece is not something I’d wear, I’ll have to check out the rest of the collection when it comes out. Now that I think of it, I rarely ever see Beyonce in any HOD clothing. Why is that?

Gwen and her husband welcomed their second child, another baby boy they named Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale. Now that is a mouthful and quite the change in stature from their first son’s name “Kingston”

Isn’t Zuma a girl’s name?  It’s Arabic for “peace” (like Zulema).  Hmm, then again, maybe it’s because Gwen is a SoCal girl and loves the beach as in Zuma Beach? Or maybe he’s named after Zuma Rock that is located in the Niger State where the capital of Nigeria is !  Bob Marley’s middle name is Nesta, could it be that?!  So many guesses, most likely none of them are right though.

I find it a wee bit ironic that several of the celebrity moms such as Gwen, Christina, Posh, and Britney all of whom are know for their love of makeup and diva fashions had sons! No little girls to dress up and give makeup tips to.

JLo did an interview with her trainer in Central Park about her fitness regimen for her upcoming triathlon on ABC’s Good Morning America in NYC today.

She says she came up with the idea to enter a triathlon when she was 8 months pregnant after seeing one on the telly:

“I can do that…maybe I could do that this year.”

Ever the diva, she is doing it for charity and has begun training just six months after giving birth to her twins:

“I’m always interested in challenges, and seeing what I can do.”

She showed some moves, and shook her fine a** and I have to say that she is looking good for a 38 year old mama coug!

I love this picture of Madonna, it’s from way back when, but I like it. Anyways….

I clicked around trying to find out a few details on Madonna’s birthday party at Volstead, a private party nightclub in London’s west end. Here’s what I found out. Supposedly about 90 people showed up to surprise her, including her three kids.

Thousands of red roses were everywhere, her table had some sort of caviar-filled crystal ball on it as some sort of center piece type thingie. The menu had some tasty items: sushi, quail eggs, watermelon martinis and giant bottles of Krug Rose champagne.

Adoring hubby Guy gave a tender and loving speech about her. Madonna then got up and gave a speech “refusing a mic because it was too impersonal.” She said the typical usual stuff about loving her family and loyal friends and then went off on some tangent about Kabbalah.

It sounds like quite the birthday bash as it lasted until 3 a.m. apparently.  Late night for the old coug!
