“American Idol” winner David Cook was asked on”Live With Regis and Kelly” about whether he and former show contestant Kimberly Caldwell went out on a date he said:
“I did. We’ll probably hang out again. So we’ll see.”
David Cook beat David Archuleta last week in the “AI” finale, after more than 97 million votes were cast. David cook won by approximately 12 million votes.
American Idol pumped out 100 million votes for this season’s crowning episode. If you were wondering which David became the new American Idol it was David Cook. At first I was rooting for Archuleta but then his songs started getting sappier and sappier. I can see why he didn’t win, just for the fact I don’t think I would buy his record, and I am definitely in his target audience. David Cook on the other hand I would think about downloading his album, and I can actually see his songs getting played on mainstream radio.
