Celine Dion has finally decided on what to name her newborn twin boys – Nelson and Eddy Angelil. The Canadian pop singer explained that Nelson is a tribute to Nelson Mandela while Eddy is named after French songwriter Eddy Marnay, who helped launch Celine’s career when she was just 13 years old. Those aren’t exactly the traditional French names that her mom was hoping for but they sure sound English enough to satisfy her eldest son Rene-Charles. It’s also great that they have a special meaning behind them. I hope Nelson and Eddy have just as great lives as the people they were named for.
