Khloe Kardashian has admitted she is “freaking out” about her struggle to get pregnant. The reality star and husband Lamar Odom have been trying to conceive for some time and in the final installment of their show Khloe & Lamar she finally crumbles under the pressure after another round of fertility testing. She tells Lamar: “I’m sorry for snapping at you and being on edge lately but I’ve been holding a lot of stuff in and trying not to bother you, but I’ve been freaking out about why I’m not pregnant. It’s scary [thinking], ‘Oh God, what if I physically can’t have kids’.” Odom, who married Kardashian in 2009 after just 32 days together, was more optimistic. “It’ll work out. If something is wrong, that doesn’t affect anything [we're] going to do [as a couple],” he said. “We’re not going to give up.”
British actor Alex Pettyfer has defended his previous statement that Los Angeles is ‘disgusting’. In an interview last month with VMan magazine, the 21-year-old described LA – where he now lives – as ‘this insidious pool where nearly everyone lives in fear. Geographically it’s fantastic… but socially it’s disgusting’ But now the I Am Number Four star has said his comments were initially misunderstood. According to E! Online, he said: “I don’t think I was so much misquoted as misunderstood.” His publicist added: “The most misunderstood boy in America!”
Bristol Palin has confirmed she had corrective jaw surgery after rumours started she’d had a cosmetic procedure. The 20-year-old recently made an appearance at the White House Correspondents Association dinner afterparty on April 30, where she was pictured with a slightly different face shape. Rumours started that she’d had something done to her face but she had not confirmed what the change was. She said to Us Weekly: “It’s not plastic surgery. I had corrective jaw surgery.” Palin added: “Yes. It improved the way I look, but this surgery was necessary for medical reasons… so my jaw and teeth could properly realign… I don’t obsess over my face.” But the star admitted she is happy with her new look. She said: “I am absolutely thrilled with the results. I look older, more mature, and don’t have as much of a chubby little baby face!”
Movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger has reportedly asked his wife Maria to come back. The couple recently announced their split after 25 years of marriage and reports claimed Maria had been ‘miserable’ for a number of years. However, according to TMZ, the tough-guy actor and former Governor of California has realised how he was upsetting his wife and now wants to try and make amends. A source said: “Arnold has done a 180. He’s been really sweet to her since all this went down.” The couple recently spent the evening together at an LA hotel for a special occasion and she has allegedly been telling friends that he has a kind of power over her. A source told the site: “Maria has been tortured over pulling the plug on the marriage. One day she’s determined to get the hell out, and the next day she just can’t do it.”
Kelly Brook has suffered a miscarriage five months into her pregnancy. The British model and actress is said to be ‘devastated’ after losing her baby girl over the weekend. According to the Daily Mirror, the 31-year-old was taken to hospital last week amid fears that she was miscarrying, and doctors later confirmed that the worst had happened. A source told the newspaper that boyfriend Thom Evans, 25, who she previously said would make the ‘perfect dad’, is by her side as she recovers at her home in Kent, along with mum Sandra. “Kelly is absolutely devastated. She was so looking forward to being a mum,” said the friend. “Everyone is rallying around to make sure she and Thom will be OK. But it’s all so raw at the moment and words can’t express how they’re both feeling.” A spokesman for Kelly confirmed the miscarriage, describing it as ‘a very painful time’ for both her and Thom.
Johnny Depp has revealed he used to check into hotels using the alias ‘Mr Stench’. The Pirates Of The Caribbean star said it always made him laugh when he heard people using the fake name. “You’d start your day off with a smile, just to get that wake-up call at six o’clock in the morning, saying, ‘It’s time to wake up, Mr Stench’. “And when you hear it in foreign accents as well, it makes it sound even better.” Depp, 47, who lives in France with partner Vanessa Paradis and their two children, said he had dreamed up other aliases in the past. He told a US TV show, “I’ve also been Monsieur Poopy.” Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides hits screens in the US on May 20 and in the UK on May 18.
Cameron Diaz has revealed that she doesn’t “care what other people think” about the way she lives her life. In an interview with US Cosmopolitan, the 38-year-old actress says she would never change the way she behaves for a man or anyone else. “I don’t care what other people think. It’s my life, I live it the way I want to,” she says. The Charlie’s Angels star, who appears on the cover of the magazine’s June issue, is currently appearing in new movie Bad Teacher, in which she plays a pot-smoking, over-sexed teacher, and she admitted she enjoyed swearing and being rude to children while making the film. “The best thing was getting to abuse children, none of whom were harmed during the filming,” she jokes. Diaz, who has been dating baseball star Alex Rodriguez for over a year, also revealed that she is not in a hurry to settle down and get married. “Marriage hasn’t been important to me,” she says. “And you can’t have a child just because you think it’s something you are supposed to do.”
Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s teenage daughter has been stopped by police. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that cops spotted three girls – including Tallulah Belle Willis, 17 – getting out of a car in Hollywood at around 11pm. The trio – who were all underage – were carrying what appeared to be two bottles of alcohol. Tallulah Belle and her friends were cited at the scene for underage possession. However, since Tallulah Belle – who has appeared in The Scarlet Letter with Demi and The Whole Ten Yards with Bruce – is a minor, cops couldn’t just release her and needed to find an adult to pick her up. According to TMZ, Tallulah Belle called Bruce but it was actually Demi who picked her up.
Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has revealed plans for a three-day festival this summer in aid of charity. The Big Feastival is set to take place on Clapham Common from 1-3 July this year and will combine ‘London’s finest gourmet experience with the look of an urban village fete and a music festival vibe’. The festival, which will be headlined by Soul II Soul, the Charlatans and Athlete, will feature pop-up kitchens from leading restaurants. Chefs Giorgio Locatelli and former Masterchef winner Thomasina Miers, are scheduled to appear at the event. According to British Metro newspaper, Jamie, 35, said: “The Big Feastival is something unique that we have wanted to try for a while. A really good festival for everyone with great music and great food, all for charity.” The profits made from the event will go towards The Prince’s Trust and The Jamie Oliver Foundation to help disadvantaged young people.
Harry Potter star Emma Watson has confirmed that she is transferring from America’s prestigious Brown University to another university in the autumn. But her representative, Vanessa Davies, insisted that Watson was not leaving the Ivy League school because of alleged “bullying” by other students, who reportedly mocked her role in the Potter movies. Davies said that the 21-year-old actress wanted to change to a course not offered by the university and had “absolutely loved her time at Brown”. She did not reveal which university Watson will attend.
