The suit OJ Simpson wore when he was found not guilty in the murder trial of Nicole
Brown has been donated to the Smithsonian museum, RadarOnline reports in an exclusive.
The light-brown suit, patterned tie and white shirt will be donated to the prestigious museum, Judge Joseph Biderman ruled.
Simpson was also found not guilty of the murder of Brown’s friend Ronald Goldman in the longest jury trial in the history of California. The trial in the 1994 murder charge ran for nine months. A later civil trial, in 1997, found Simpson liable for damages in the wrongful deaths of Brown and Goldman.celebr
A lawyer for Goldman’s father agreed with Simpson’s team that the items would be donated as a gift in “memory of Ronald Lyle Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson”.
Simpson, who is in prison in Nevada for a separate crime, agreed to the donation.
Kate Middleton, the girlfriend of Britain’s Prince William, has gone out on a limb and started legal action against the paparazzi.
Middleton through Queen Elizabeth’s lawyers fired off warning letters to a photographer and distributors Rex Features and Ikon Pictures over photographs of her playing tennis.
The photos showed the 28-year-old playing tennis over the holiday break and were sold in Germany. They were taken at the Prince of Wales’s Restormel Manor in Cornwall on Christmas Day.
Harbottle & Lewis demanded the withdrawal from circulation of photos, which UK media outlets did not publish despite being offered them. The lawyers also demanded damages for invasion of privacy.
Harbottle & Lewis senior partner Gerrard Tyrell said:”I have sent a letter before action to two agencies, Rex Features and Ikon, and am waiting to hear back. If there is not a suitable response we will take legal action. I have been working with Kate for some time and we have been dealing with these issues.”
Buckingham Palace recently announced the royal family was prepared to go to court over photos they believed were intrusive and invaded their privacy.
Cheeky chef Jamie Oliver has revealed he likes to pull pranks on his family during the festive season.
The 34-year-old star may come across as an innocent character on screen, but he admitted that he likes nothing more than pulling a good practical joke.
He said: “What I do like to do is download filthy jokes and put them in the crackers.
“Three years ago, I filled up an empty box of Viagra with Smarties and put it in my nan’s cracker and put hair-growth cream in my dad’s!”
Oliver is dad to three daughters with wife Jools, also 34 – Poppy Honey, seven, Daisy Boo, six, and Petal Blossom Rainbow, eight months.
David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife smelt of booze and was slurring her words when she was pulled over for suspected drink driving, a California Highway Patrol (CHP) report has revealed.
Pamela Bach was driving so erratically on the freeway that she swerved between two lanes and almost hit another car, the report into her arrest states.
The mother-of-two, who said she felt “remorseful and mortified” following her brush with the law, even failed a series of sobriety tests to check her hand to eye co-ordination.
“Based on the observation of the driving, her inability to perform the tests and the symptoms of intoxication – including the odour of alcohol and the slurring of words – she was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol,” a CHP spokesman said.
Bach, who was booked under her married name – Pamela Hasselhoff – was spotted by highway patrol officers as she drove westbound along the 101 freeway in north Hollywood on Saturday evening.
The officers’ report into the incident claims the blonde actress, who was alone in the vehicle, was struggling to stay in one lane and almost hit another car moments before they pulled her over.
Bach, who was married to Hasselhoff for more than 16 years, was taken to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Van Nuys Jail where she submitted to “chemical tests” before being released to a friend.
The TV star spent more than five hours in custody before being released. She posted bail money totalling $15,000.
Roman Polanski has managed to escape charges of child sex because he is white, according to a television personality.
Star Jones, an African American guest on The Insider’s Monday night program, said in a statement released by CBS: “I have no sympathy for him. He’s in jail. Three hots and a cot, that’s what you’re supposed to get. Something tells me Spike Lee would not have been allowed to chill in France for the last three decades had he admitted to having sex with a 13-year-old.”
Jones is a former co-host on the women’s daytime show The View with Barbara Walters, and a legal expert.
“Roman Polanski is very much loved by the Hollywood industry and they are out there putting petitions together – because he is white and he is rich, he was privileged,” she said.
“Polanski has received a statement of support from Hollywood heavyweights such as Harvey Weinstein, Woody Allen and Martin Scorsese.”
Polanski is under arrest in Switzerland on a 1978 US warrant for charges of unlawful sex with a minor, with authorities in Los Angeles expected to pursue his extradition.

Kendra, 24, is expecting a son with Hank, 27, later this year and Hank was recently released by football team, the Philadelphia Eagles, to make room for Michael Vick.
The football team revealed the news in a statement on their website and said that Vick will be taken off the exempt list and will soon begin practising with the team.

Kendra and Hank married at the Playboy mansion, where Kendra lived for five years, in July.
Hugh Hefner will turn up to the Toronto International Film Festival with his “girlfriends” to attend the world premiere of Hugh Hefner: Playboy, Activist and Rebel.
The film by Oscar-winning documentary maker Brigitte Berman shows that Hefner was a social activist who campaigned for civil rights and free speech and put blacklisted and black American performers on his Playboy After Dark and Playboy’s Penthouse TV shows.
Hefner launched Playboy in 1953, breaking sexual taboos. Of the documentary he said: “Here’s an opportunity to have this other side of me, a more serious one, explored by someone as talented as Brigitte Berman, and having it done by a woman and a Canadian with the support of the Canadian government, it’s all very complementary.”
Hefner met Berman after she won the best feature documentary award at the 1987 Academy Awards for Artie Shaw: Time Is All You’ve Got, a biopic of the jazz clarinetist and bandleader.
“I’m a big fan of jazz, and I was intrigued by that and discovered she had a second documentary that no one had seen on [1920s jazz musician] Bix Beiderbecke, one of my real iconic heroes when I was a kid,” he said.
The film shows how Hefner broke the colour line in his Playboy clubs and TV shows and funded legal teams to fight anti-abortion laws. He also campaigned against censorship and limits on sexual freedom.
Gordon Ramsay is horrified that his young children are already taking after him – and attacking school dinner ladies over their cooking skills.
TV’s famous foul-mouthed chef revealed that son Jack, nine, and daughter Megan, 10, are already proving to be a chip off the old block.
Gordon revealed: “Jack was at school, he’d finished his lunch and went straight into the canteen and told the dinner lady, ‘Mrs Smith, the Mac and Cheese needed more salt’.
“I thought, ‘Oh God, you shouldn’t be talking to the dinner lady like that’.
“And Megan, after first home economics class where they baked, Megan told-off her teacher for not washing her hands first.
“Her teacher thought, ‘Oh God, here we go – she’s a Ramsay’.”
The chef, famed for his outrageous swearing on his shows, admits he lets slip at home too – and it costs him.
Unfortunately there’s a swear jar in the kitchen – and unfortunately I’m the one always ending up on the naughty step.
“I don’t want them to be slightly wrapped up in cotton wool and not know what these words mean. They turn round and say, ‘Daddy we heard you say the f-word’ and they stand there and go, ‘Give us the money – give us the money…’”
Actress Holly Madison has said she would like to make up for missing Kendra Wilkinson’s recent baby shower by throwing her “the craziest baby shower ever”.
Madison could not make the Los Angeles celebration because she was in Las Vegas working on Peepshow. “I want to do it,” she said at the CineVegas Film Festival.
When asked what her party would feature, she said: “I don’t know, fun and fun people … Who knows, it’s Vegas. Anything can happen here, and it usually does.”
Even though she missed Wilkinson’s baby shower, Madison made sure to follow through with an unusual gift.
“I got her one of those hot dog toasters you see in the SkyMall, you know where you put the hot dog and bun in. She always wanted one of those,” Madison said.
Madison yesterday said she thought the sporty Wilkinson would make a great “soccer mom”. Wilkinson and her footballer fiance Hank Baskett plan to wed this month.
