Rod Stewart’s ex Alana Stewart has spoken out about their daughter Kimberly’s pregnancy. Her mum was recently asked about the happy news. She said to RadarOnline.com: “I’m really happy and thrilled for them both. Kimberly is delighted!” Her comments come as rumours surfaced that Kimberly’s pregnancy had caused a rift in her family. Kimberly’s dad Rod Stewart, who recently became a father for the eighth time, has not spoken about the baby news.
Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott are expecting their third baby this year, and the actress said her timing couldn’t have been any better. The 37-year-old told People.com: “I found out on Valentine’s Day. “I wrapped up the pregnancy test in a box and bow and gave it to Dean as his Valentine’s Day gift. He was beyond surprised. Best gift ever!” Their son Liam, four, seemed to know that something was up before anyone told about his new sibling. She said: “Liam kept saying, ‘Your belly is getting huge. That means there’s a baby in there.’” But Tori, who already has children Liam and Stella, two, has so far felt a bit worse for wear during this pregnancy. Spelling added: “I have been nauseous for the past three months straight. Thankfully it is starting to get better now.”
Ryan Phillippe has revealed how he and ex-wife Reese Witherspoon were reduced to tears by a speech on clean water for Africa given by their daughter Ava. The couple split in 2007 but share custody of Ava, 11, and Deacon, seven, and Phillippe said that they both broke down when they saw how well-rounded and thoughtful their daughter had turned out. Talking to OK! Magazine, he explained, “I grew up pretty humbly, and my parents struggled to pay the bills. The life my children are living is completely different so I try to pass onto them that notion of how fortunate they are. “But one of the most rewarding things is when they come up with something themselves – my son the other day wanted to donate his piggy bank, which was a couple of hundred dollars in coins, and my daughter had an assignment to do her version of the I Have A Dream speech (by Martin Luther King, Jr.). “She wrote this incredibly eloquent, well thought out speech about clean water for Africa and she gave it in front of the whole school. “Reese and I showed up and we both had tears coming down. You realise that regardless of the fact that you live in the public eye or that the marriage didn’t work out, these kids are happy and good people.”
Khloe Kardashian has insisted she is happy to wait to fall pregnant naturally. Rumours she had turned to brother Rob to help her and husband Lamar Odum conceive have been doing the rounds. But the reality star said they are happy to just enjoy married life for the time being. She told People: “I’m not desperate to have a baby. Do I want children? Yes. But I’m very happy being just Lamar and I. I think a baby would add so much to us, but right now, I’m so content and so happy with the way things are. People think I would sell my hair to have a child.” She added: “We feel like we’re young and whatever is meant to happen is meant to happen. I’m healthy, I know I can have children. He can have children. It’s like we’re not doing anything to stop it, but I don’t have like an ovulation calendar and all that.”
Former boxing champ Mike Tyson has spoken movingly of how the tragic death of his daughter made him turn his life around. Iron Mike admits that when he knew daughter Exodus was going to die after a freak accident with a treadmill power cord in May 2009 he initially planned to ‘raise hell’ and ‘be a psycho’. But he spoke movingly to talk show host Ellen DeGeneres about how seeing other parents coping with their own tragedies at the same hospital had such a powerful effect on him he turned his life around. Saying their example made him want to be ‘humble’ and live ‘with dignity’, he proudly said he has since been sober and even vegan for the last two years. Before that, he happily admitted he had become “a fat cokehead – and as you know there’s nothing worse than a fat cokehead!” Asked what made him change, he told Ellen: “I had a four-year-old daughter unfortunately had an accident and died. “I was pretty enraged, just torn apart, and I went to the hospital – she was on a machine – and I’m anticipating, because I’m probably coming down from a hangover, to go to the hospital and raise hell. “But when I got there and I saw other people there, whose children had either died or they were dying, and they were handling it with dignity. “I didn’t want to be the psycho parent up there – I wanted to handle it with dignity as well.”
Kourtney Kardashian is considering having another baby according to her boyfriend Scott Disick. He said that both are open to the idea of a brother or sister for little Mason, one, and that if it happens then it is ‘meant to be’. He told E! Online, “I’ve always wanted a girl. And then I had Mason and I realised a boy was fantastic. But I would say having a girl would be unbelievable too, to have best of both worlds. “When the time comes or if it’s meant to be, we’ll have another one.” The 27-year-old added that he feels like a better person since meeting the socialite. He said, “I would like to say I turned over a new leaf a while ago. I just want Kourtney to be happy, and the way I used to be didn’t make her happy. “I would hope to God, till death do us part. Even though we’re not married, it’s still the same so-called vow, I guess.”
The mother of porn star and escort Devon James has labelled her daughter a liar after James claimed Tiger Woods was the father of her child.
Sandra Brinling has branded her daughter a “pathological liar”, and has alleged that James was “absolutely” attempting to blackmail the golfer by making the claim.
Brinling, who has custody of her grandchild, said: “There is absolutely no way that it is Tiger Woods’ son.”
“My daughter is nothing but a pathological liar… all she is trying to do is to get Tiger Woods to pay her some money to shut her up,” Radar Online reports her as saying.
Responding to suggestions the child looked like Woods, Brinling said: “You’re right – absolutely right. I said that to my husband – if you looked at the boy and then looked at Tiger… they look the same.”
However, Brinling has reportedly said that the boy’s father was African-American and Puerto Rican.
And this can only mean double the good news for Nick Cannon. It looks like Mariah Carey is expecting twins, or so “The enquirer” is reporting. This is what a source had to say about Mariah Carey’s radiant happiness: “Mariah is gushing that she’s going to have twins.” Her husband is probably getting all tripsey-toe about all of this. It means double the happiness and double the fun for him now that Mariah Carey is expecting twins. And he won’t even be able to find peace once the little ones finally leave the womb. Fun, fun, fun, what else could you expect.
Hollywood star Julia Roberts has revealed she has taken up sewing – to keep herself sane!
The actress has made pillows and trousers for husband Danny Moder as her way of coping with three children and a chaotic household.
In a new interview to air on Oprah Roberts said: “This is my new skill to keep my brain firm! I made some big pillows for the kids and some really simple pants for Danny.”
Roberts, who is raising twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, five, and Henry, two, with husband Danny, says although it can get quite chaotic at her house with the kids, she still enjoys it.
“It’s so heavenly and kind and dear just to have that – the chaos that goes on in our house and the quietude that goes on.”
The Lancôme “global ambassadress” shares that one of her favourite things to do is to watch the children waking up in the morning.
Roberts added: “It’s fascinating to me. That’s the thing about being new to the world, you’re just so present and impressed with everything … the older you get, the grumpier you get. It’s like, we’ve got to get there, we’re going to be late. You know, they’re in the car: ‘Look at the tree!’ Everything is exciting.”
