Jessica Alba is looking forward to the arrival of her baby so she can enjoy some cuddles. The actress is expecting her second child with husband Cash Warren and said that she can’t wait to have a new born baby in her arms again. She told People magazine: “They’re little peanuts! They’re just the best. Their smell and the cuddling! They’re so sweet.” The 29-year-old added that she is confident that her body will bounce back into shape naturally after she gives birth. “My grandmother was amazing. She would go home and would put on the clothes that she wore before she got pregnant with all five of her kids,” she explained. “It’s definitely good genetics, but she also worked through all of her pregnancies. Just being on your feet and moving probably helped.”
Kate Hudson has insisted that she won’t be hiring a nanny when her baby arrives because she already has plenty of help. The 32-year-old actress is expecting her first child with Muse frontman Matt Bellamy, and said there are enough people around her to help her out, without having to pay someone. She told In Touch magazine, “There are already plenty of people who help me. “I have six girls whom I’m very close to. “Some of them are single mums so we actually grew into kind of one big family, where everybody is there for the other.”
Kelly Brook has suffered a miscarriage five months into her pregnancy. The British model and actress is said to be ‘devastated’ after losing her baby girl over the weekend. According to the Daily Mirror, the 31-year-old was taken to hospital last week amid fears that she was miscarrying, and doctors later confirmed that the worst had happened. A source told the newspaper that boyfriend Thom Evans, 25, who she previously said would make the ‘perfect dad’, is by her side as she recovers at her home in Kent, along with mum Sandra. “Kelly is absolutely devastated. She was so looking forward to being a mum,” said the friend. “Everyone is rallying around to make sure she and Thom will be OK. But it’s all so raw at the moment and words can’t express how they’re both feeling.” A spokesman for Kelly confirmed the miscarriage, describing it as ‘a very painful time’ for both her and Thom.
Kate Hudson has revealed that her seven-year-old son Ryder has become ‘protective’ of his pregnant mother. The 32-year-old actress is expecting her first child with fiancé Matt Bellamy and said that Ryder, who she had during her previous marriage to Chris Robinson, has gone into overdrive when it comes to looking out for her. She told Starpulse, “He likes making fun of me. He’s a kid, he loves it. He says, ‘You’re huge!’ and all that kind of stuff. “He’s very protective. I put spicy stuff on my food, he goes, ‘Mum, don’t eat that.’ I was like, ‘What?’ He goes, ‘Don’t eat that.’ This was last night. He goes, ‘The baby might not like spicy.’ I was like, ‘What is going on?’ “All of a sudden he doesn’t want me to drive a car. You shouldn’t be driving. I can’t get up on anything high. I got up on the thing to get his ball out and he just went, ‘Get down.’ He’s very protective. It’s pretty cute.”
Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott are expecting their third baby this year, and the actress said her timing couldn’t have been any better. The 37-year-old told People.com: “I found out on Valentine’s Day. “I wrapped up the pregnancy test in a box and bow and gave it to Dean as his Valentine’s Day gift. He was beyond surprised. Best gift ever!” Their son Liam, four, seemed to know that something was up before anyone told about his new sibling. She said: “Liam kept saying, ‘Your belly is getting huge. That means there’s a baby in there.’” But Tori, who already has children Liam and Stella, two, has so far felt a bit worse for wear during this pregnancy. Spelling added: “I have been nauseous for the past three months straight. Thankfully it is starting to get better now.”
Khloe Kardashian has insisted she is happy to wait to fall pregnant naturally. Rumours she had turned to brother Rob to help her and husband Lamar Odum conceive have been doing the rounds. But the reality star said they are happy to just enjoy married life for the time being. She told People: “I’m not desperate to have a baby. Do I want children? Yes. But I’m very happy being just Lamar and I. I think a baby would add so much to us, but right now, I’m so content and so happy with the way things are. People think I would sell my hair to have a child.” She added: “We feel like we’re young and whatever is meant to happen is meant to happen. I’m healthy, I know I can have children. He can have children. It’s like we’re not doing anything to stop it, but I don’t have like an ovulation calendar and all that.”
Kourtney Kardashian is considering having another baby according to her boyfriend Scott Disick. He said that both are open to the idea of a brother or sister for little Mason, one, and that if it happens then it is ‘meant to be’. He told E! Online, “I’ve always wanted a girl. And then I had Mason and I realised a boy was fantastic. But I would say having a girl would be unbelievable too, to have best of both worlds. “When the time comes or if it’s meant to be, we’ll have another one.” The 27-year-old added that he feels like a better person since meeting the socialite. He said, “I would like to say I turned over a new leaf a while ago. I just want Kourtney to be happy, and the way I used to be didn’t make her happy. “I would hope to God, till death do us part. Even though we’re not married, it’s still the same so-called vow, I guess.”
According to half-sister Sarah Owen, Lily Allen is not letting her recent miscarriage stop her from attempting to have another child and says that the British singer actually has plans to start trying for another baby with boyfriend Sam Cooper in 2011. Sarah said “New Year, new start. Losing the baby has totally devastated her, she’s still grieving. I didn’t realise the impact something like this could have on someone, and as a sister it’s been painful to watch. Lily won’t let this stop her, she is absolutely determined to be a mum. This is what she wants more than anything in the whole wide world, more than her singing career. It’s always been her dream. Lily hasn’t been in a great place, but she’s getting there. It’s been a long, hard road. She is in the country with her boyfriend and doing wholesome things. They’re going to start trying (for a baby) in the New Year.”
Matt Damon has revealed that his family has reached its ideal size and there will be no more children. Wife Luciana is due to give birth to their fourth daughter later this month, but the Bourne star insisted that this child will be their last. The 40-year-old told People, “My wife is about to have our fourth kid and we’ve drawn a line in the sand. “This is it. Our lives are full and wonderful and we’re done having kids.” He added, “Lucy is in her third trimester for the fourth time and I think that’s about enough to ask of any woman. I don’t want to turn her into Ethel Kennedy.” The couple already have Gia, two, Isabella, four, and Alexis, 11.
Reality star Kendra Wilkinson has reportedly revealed that she “used to be hardcore” when it came to exercise, but that she has mellowed since becoming a mum.
Wilkinson, 24, who married her NFL star husband Hank Baskett at the Playboy Mansion last year, gave birth to her first child – son Hank IV – in December, and she admitted that she hasn’t been in a hurry to resume her gruelling pre-baby exercise routine.
She said to HollywoodLife.com: “It’s all about energy. I have to do 30 minutes of hardcore, and the next 30 is stretching. I used to be hardcore!”
She added: “I used to do an hour of cardio, but I want to save that 30 minutes of energy and give it to my son.”
