Selma Blair has joked that she’s going to be totally bald by the time her post-pregnancy hair loss has finished. The actress, who welcomed son Arthur Saint four months ago with boyfriend Jason Bleick, said that hormonal changes have been playing havoc with her hair. “This is so not glamorous, but it’s true. I need to take longer showers so that I can collect the hair that falls out and throw it away so I don’t clog the drain. Why do actresses never talk about that?” she told People magazine. “It just started falling out at the three-month mark, and I’m not a girl who likes extensions, so Selma’s going to be bald!” But while her barnet may be thinning, her son is going from strength to strength. “He rolls over now and he got a bouncy toy! It’s like the biggest moment of your life, ‘Oh my gosh, I get 10 minutes free now!’” she said. “Before, he had a play mat, mummy or daddy or now a nanny that comes for a few hours in the daytime, to hold him. But now, autonomy! He got a Fisher-Price Jumperoo I wish I had one for every room!”

Sarah Michelle Geller has revealed that becoming a mum is the best thing she’s ever done. The actress has one-year-old daughter Charlotte Grace with husband Freddie Prinze Jr, and said having her little girl tops all her other achievements. “I don’t want to feel like a failure to my daughter,” she told the Los Angeles Times. “She’s the best thing I’ve ever done. Buffy — pretty great and all, but Charlotte’s way better.” Now working as an actress and co-executive producer in new series Ringer, the 34-year-old revealed she naps on her lunch break so she can get up with Charlotte. She admitted that being the boss has its perks. “My family comes first and you have to be in charge to protect that,” she said. But everyone on the show seems to be on the same page. “Our kids are all the same age,” she said. “It’s a big support system I never had before.”

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are expecting their third child. The couple have confirmed that Garner is pregnant and say they are ‘thrilled’ with the news. Affleck and Garner, both 39, already have two daughters: five-year-old Violet, and two-year-old Seraphina. The pair should be used to juggling parenting with their acting careers, but Garner has previously confessed that mixing motherhood and work gives her a ’split personality’. “I feel like half my brain is somewhere else all the time, but when the camera’s rolling I pull it together and focus for two minutes,” she has said. “Then I kind of turn back to a ditz again.” The actress said she copes thanks to the help of a ‘great nanny’ and a ’supportive husband’. “We figure it out day by day,” she said. “It’s always messy and it’s never as glamorous as people think it is, but we get through and as long as the kids are happy it’s all good.” Affleck and Garner, who starred together in 2003 movie Daredevil, got engaged after dating for just nine months and wed in June 2005. Daughter Violet was born six months after their wedding and Seraphina followed in January 2009. The couple have not confirmed when their third baby is due, nor have they revealed whether or not they know the sex.

Kourtney Kardashian has denied she is pregnant after reports claimed she was expecting her second baby. The 32-year-old reality star and businesswoman is already mum to son Mason, 20 months, with boyfriend Scott Disick. Reports claimed the star was expecting again in time for her sister Kim’s wedding on August 20. However she wrote on her blog: “So there has been a lot of people saying lately that I have a baby bump because I have been wearing lots of flowy dresses or tops. “I have definitely gained a few healthy pounds since I stopped nursing, but I don’t see a baby bump in these shorts!”

True Blood star Sam Trammell has reportedly become a father after his girlfriend gave birth to twins. The 40-year-old actor and girlfriend Missy Yager are said to have welcomed twin boys on August 9. A source told Life & Style: “The couple is very happy that everything went smoothly.” Trammell is best known for playing the role of Sam Merlotte on the hit HBO show while Yager has appeared in shows such as Mad Men and Boston Public. The couple have been together for eight years after meeting in New York doing theatre.

Pregnant star Mel B said she’s resisting buying too much stuff for her unborn baby. The 36-year-old is currently expecting her third child but her first with husband Stephen Belafonte. She said to PEOPLE: “I’m really so behind with all that stuff. With my other two, I just waited until they were born and [then I] sensed what works and what doesn’t.” Mel added that she doesn’t know what sex the baby is. She said: “It’s nice to have something left to surprise yourself. You get everything neutral – not too much stuff until the baby arrives.” Mel also has two girls – Phoenix Chi, 12, and Angel Iris, four – from previous relationships.

Jessica Alba proudly showed off her pregnant belly for Latina magazine. “If you are sporting a pregnant belly, it’s better to show it than to hide it,” she told the mag. “The more figure-forming your clothes, even though you have more curves, the better.” She also said that being pregnant a second time is easier because the experiences that worried her while pregnant with daughter Honor Marie, now three, are old hat. “With Honor, I was constantly asking myself ‘Is she moving? Is her heart beating?’” Alba admits. “I’d worry about everything. With this baby I don’t have the same anxieties.” She also says being a mum has lessened her devotion to life as an actress. “Before I had her, work was all I had,” Alba said. “Now it’s not.” She added: “I love what I do. But unless it’s worth it, I’m not going to spend time away from my daughter.” She even admits: “After I had Honor I didn’t leave the house for a while. “It was all about changing diapers and feedings and still trying to get back in to the routine of my [acting] thing.” On the possibility of more kids, Alba – who is now learning Spanish – said with a wink: “I just have to feel it out. See how my 30s treat me. I just try to live in the moment.”

Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger has reportedly contacted Mildred Baena about meeting up with their son Joseph. According to TMZ, the pair have recently had several telephone conversations but have not met face-to-face. It’s claimed they also spoke on the night that their scandal broke. Baena has not reportedly been back to the Schwarzeneggers’ family home, where she worked as their housekeeper for more than two decades, or even her own home to try to protect her son from the media attention. However, they have now been talking about a meeting so the actor can meet up with his young son. A source added: “Both families are open to a meeting, it just hasn’t happened yet.”

Supermodel Kate Moss has reportedly decided to adopt a healthy lifestyle while on her honeymoon because she is hoping to fall pregnant. It is claimed that the 37 year-old, who married Kills rocker Jamie Hince on July 1, is going to try for a baby as soon as the couple return from sailing around the Mediterranean on Sir Philip Green’s £10 million luxury yacht. A friend of Moss’s told British newspaper the Daily Star: “Kate peaked at her wedding with booze, fags and bacon butties, but Jamie wants her to become healthier as they try for a child. “Kate’s gone to the Med equipped with wheatgrass, barley grass and fish oils, with a view to getting pregnant when she comes home. “Jamie adores Kate and wants her around for a long time. She hasn’t completely cut out the booze and fags just yet, but this is definitely the first step and a new side to married Kate.”

Khloe Kardashian has admitted she is “freaking out” about her struggle to get pregnant. The reality star and husband Lamar Odom have been trying to conceive for some time and in the final installment of their show Khloe & Lamar she finally crumbles under the pressure after another round of fertility testing. She tells Lamar: “I’m sorry for snapping at you and being on edge lately but I’ve been holding a lot of stuff in and trying not to bother you, but I’ve been freaking out about why I’m not pregnant. It’s scary [thinking], ‘Oh God, what if I physically can’t have kids’.” Odom, who married Kardashian in 2009 after just 32 days together, was more optimistic. “It’ll work out. If something is wrong, that doesn’t affect anything [we're] going to do [as a couple],” he said. “We’re not going to give up.”
