The haggis has reportedly proved to be too much for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt and their quest to enjoy all things Scottish, thanks to the haggis. The Hollywood couple and their six kids are currently staying in Ayrshire while Brad films World War Z nearby, and ventured out for a family meal on Monday. But only son Maddox, ten, was brave enough to take on the traditional dish, which features sheep hearts, livers and lungs wrapped in the animal’s intestine. A source told the Scottish Sun, “Ayrshire’s Burns country so it was a fitting way to celebrate a great time here. But it was only Maddox who took a shine to the Haggis.”

Brad Pitt is reportedly in the market for a property in Surrey, England. The 47-year-old actor has been in the UK filming new movie World War Z, and has apparently fallen for the charms of leafy Richmond, along with partner Angelina Jolie. A source told The Sun, “Brad is keen to shoot more movies in the UK with his company Plan B Productions and thinks the mansion in Richmond is the perfect place to live.” The mother-of-six has already been spotted taking her brood to the cinema in the upmarket town which lies just outside of London.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly planning to take a low-key holiday in Cornwall. The couple have apparently decided to take their brood to the British get-away while Brad films World War Z in London. But in keeping with A-list celebrity style, the family will be shunning local bed and breakfasts in favour of a super yacht, The Sun reported. A source said, “Brad thought the family might as well have a holiday while he’s shooting World War Z. “Cornwall is a little different from their usual destinations, but they’ve heard lots of good things about the county. “Staying on a yacht will mean they’ll be able to visit various seaside towns so the kids won’t get bored. “They’re all really looking forward to it.”

A new book details the romance that allegedly developed between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. The A-list couple has always denied that their love affair began while they shot the 2005 action movie together, while Pitt was still married to ex-wife Jennifer Aniston. The unauthorized book by Joseph Gelman and Meir Doron is based on the life of former Israeli secret agent turned Hollywood mogul Arnon Milchan. “Milchan introduced Pitt to Jolie and immediately sensed that there was a spark between them,” they write in the book. “A passionate romance ensued, with one slight problem, Pitt was married to Aniston. When Aniston kicked Pitt out of the house, all hell broke loose.”

Jennifer Aniston has revealed that filming The Breakup actually helped her to get over her own split from Brad Pitt. The pair divorced in 2005 shortly before he shacked up with Angelina Jolie and Aniston said that the 2006 film helped her to work her way through the pain. Hollywoodlife.com reported that in the upcoming episode of Inside The Actor’s Studio, the usually private star opens up about her decision to say yes to the movie, which co-starred Vince Vaughn. “It was just a beautiful story about a couple breaking up. And I was slightly familiar on the topic and the issue. And I sort of honestly felt like, what a great way to sort of exercise some of that,” she said. “I enjoyed it. It really enjoyed it. You would think otherwise, because even the producers were like, ‘I don’t know if we should ask you to do this,’ but I was like, why not? Turn the page, let’s move on.”

Big-hearted Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have donated half a million dollars to help the struggling victims of the recent devastating Joplin tornado. The generous Hollywood couple handed over $500,000 to the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, which will help to rebuild the area in Missouri which was devastated by the natural disaster. Pitt – who is a Missouri native and also attended the state’s university – issued a statement about the donation. He said: “With the devastating loss of 30 per cent of the city, the Joplin community faces great challenges ahead. “Having spent most of my childhood there, I know these people to be hardworking, humble and especially resilient. “The locally based Community Foundation of the Ozarks will be working shoulder to shoulder with these Joplin residents for the long haul as they rebuild their lives. We, too, hope to further help with these rebuilding efforts.” Jolie added: “Our hearts go out to the families in Joplin who have lost so much.” The pair are famous for their hefty donations to charity and have given millions of dollars to good causes over the last few years.

Hollywood star Brad Pitt has said that he knows his huge family with Angelina Jolie “seems extreme from the outside”, but it’s what he has always wanted. The 47-year-old actor and Jolie, 35, are parents to six kids — Maddox, eight, Pax, seven, Zahara, six, Shiloh, four, and twins Knox and Vivienne, two. While promoting his new film Tree Of Life at the Cannes Film Festival, Pitt told the Associated Press: “I know that it seems extreme from the outside, but I have always kind of operated this way. When I know, I know, and why mess around?” He added: “I had a friend who had a big family when I was a kid. I just loved the chaos around the breakfast table and the fighting and the ribbing, and the mum making pancakes for everyone, or the dad making pancakes. “I just decided then if I was ever going to do it — this left some indelible mark on me — if I was ever going to do it, that’s the way I was going to do it.”

Date nights are essential for couples with kids according to Angelina Jolie.

The Oscar-winner has revealed that she and partner Brad Pitt regularly schedule some solo time together.

“We have date nights. You have to if you have children. Sometimes we go out, but we both miss the kids so we don’t like to go far,” the 35-year-old said.

“We don’t normally have anyone spend the night with our family, so once every two weeks or so we’ll ask somebody to spend the night, so we can go and be alone together. We go to another part of the house and lock the door,” the Salt star told Stylist.

The Hollywood hunk gives voice to superhero Metro Man in the new cartoon comedy Megamind.

The film stars Will Ferrell as the villainous title character and Pitt as his do-gooding and popular arch-nemesis.

Metro Man is seen juggling babies and then hurling them back to their impressed parents as he attends a rally in his honour in these first shots from the Dreamworks picture.

But when Megamind accidentally kills Metro Man he finds himself bored and without purpose.

Megamind attempts to create another foe in the form of Titan – a young hero-in-training voiced by Jonah Hill – but the character isn’t as good as he first seemed.

The film also stars US comedienne Tina Fey as the female lead, a Lois Lane-style news reporter who keeps track of the hero-villain antics.

The film opens in November.
