Avril Lavigne’s signature little girl/Barbie-punk emo-style is still going on even though she’s now 24 years old. Check out the pink trimmed tutu and Doc Martens. She is across the pond for the launch of her new fragrance Black Star.
Avril and her posse arrived at Boujis nightclub in Kensington at around midnight. They stayed for an hour and then headed off to Whiskey Mist in Mayfair for awhile. Then they ended up at the Bungalow 8 nightclub at Covent Garden and finally left around 4 in the morning.
Her hubby Deryck was supposedly with her and though I couldn’t find a picture of them together, I did find this one of her and some hot looking guy who may be her bodyguard. With the protective arm around her waist he must be an employee taking care of her!:
Usher was snapped here partying in Paris without wife Tameka who is still recuperating from her near-death experience that occurred during a liposuction procedure in Brazil. Not sure what reason he’s in Paris for, could be Fashion Week, but after reading the comment he made about Chris Brown needing to be more humble, he could use some of his ‘humility’ advice himself.

Here are Usher’s thoughts when he was asked about Chris Brown’s jet skiing in Miami so shortly after the incident involving his assault on Rihanna. Jermaine Durpi has a new project going on and he videotaped Usher during a recording session saying he was dissapointed that Chris wasn’t showing more ‘humility.’
On the tape, Usher said:
“I’m a little disappointed in this photo. After the other photo [of Rihanna’s bruised face posted by TMZ last month]? C’mon, Chris. Have a little bit of remorse, man. The man’s on jet skis? Like, just relaxing in Miami?”
He then made a new statement that read:
“The comments made during a recent recording session amongst friends were taken out of context and blown out of proportion. I apologize on behalf of myself and my friends if anyone was offended. The intentions were not to pass judgment and we meant no harm. I respect and wish the best for all parties involved.”
Yes his wife seems to have recovered, and yes he is allowed to party with friends, but he is a new daddy after all so this picture just seems all sorts of wrong to me and if it is innocent enough who is this sexy woman anyways?!

When Solange passed out at LAX last week from too much Nyquil, exhaustion or whatever, this is the picture of her ‘incident’ taken by a fellow airport passenger. I can breathe now that I’ve seen this picture from the tragic incident.
We can all thank cell phones for this famous moment forever captured into eternity. Some say she was faking it although really, if she was, she doesn’t even know how to look like she faints correctly!
Katy Perry wants us to know she is for reals! A real live woman who does scandalous things like drinks, farts, and picks her nose! Can you imagine?
Katy told Fabulous, the UK magazine’s Hot Talent issue:
“I say what I think. I’m a real person, not some manufactured pop tart who’s afraid to step out of the hotel room.
“I am flawed. I swear, I have the occasional cocktail, I pick my nose and I fart. I’m not running for any presidential campaign at the moment. I’m a sassy girl.”
When I read that, I thought to myself, is she trying to imply that Britney or the Pussycat Dolls, or Girlicious or Miley Cyrus never fart or pick their noses? According to the buzz, THEY are all manufactured pop tarts!
British singing star Lily Allen is preparing for the launch of her second album and in a recent interview with the UK’s Observer, announced she’s off the booze and drugs for … now. She revealed that she hasn’t had a drink since the end of September.
Supposedly, what prompted her to get her act together was that she was portrayed in a comic book as a boozer and she wasn’t happy about it.
She went on to say in the interview:
“I have no intention of taking drugs again at the moment. But I can’t say ‘Never again,’ because I don’t know where I’ll be in 10 years’ time. And I will definitely drink in the future, just not for awhile.”
She did lose a baby not too long ago … hopefully, if she ever falls off the wagon, she’ll clean up her act before trying to get pregnant.
Also, it’d be nice if she wasn’t such a messy drunken fool in public again.

When asked if she’s dating Justin:
“Maybe, maybe not.”
When asked if her parents allow her to date Justin:
“Yes, but I think that right now, everything’s really good. We’re so happy with the way things have worked out.”
When asked about the age difference in the relationship with Justin and why age doesn’t matter:
“He’s been a really great friend more than anything. Everyone started judging us ever since we started hanging out. But after my last two years, there’s been a lot of things that happened, so I’ve learned not to judge anyone and just go into our friendship with an open mind. Not really worried about the age thing. Our family says, Whatever happens happens.”
When asked what she sees in Justin:
“More than anything, he’s really helped me move on from a lot of things and get my mind of of things. He’s a really great Christian guy. I am totally gushing right now… He works with my dad. He thinks he’s really cool.”
Well after seeing this picture (and the others) that hit the net recently, her mind will be “on” again!

Lindsay Lohan is being sued by three guys in an SUV she drove during a car chase that resulted in her second DUI arrest last year. The past really can come back to haunt a person! Her legal fees will be outrageous to defend herself. She better get some work, make more money, ’cause she’s going to pay pay pay.
The actress was “angry and aggressive” and the guys “felt surprise, shock, fear and panic at Lohan’s surprising and sudden act” of allegedly commandeering a car in which they happened to be sitting to chase her personal assistant through the streets of Santa Monica, according to the lawsuit.
Ronnie Blake, Jakon Sutter and Dante Nigro who are the plaintiffs – are seeking unspecified damages in the case, filed in Superior Court in Santa Monica.
Though no one was physically hurt, their lawsuit describes a wild, traumatic ride with Lindsay supposedly upset and intoxicated as she went after the other car following a party.
“Dante and Jakon continued to implore Lohan to slow down, stating specifically that she was endangering all of their lives and that they could be killed,” the lawsuit says. “Lohan refused to slow or stop, but instead responded with abusive cursing and vulgar language, including a statement that she did not care about the risk of death.”
The lawsuit adds: “She also stated that because she was a celebrity she could do whatever she wants.”
Lohan’s attorney, Ed McPherson, tells TMZ.com the lawsuit is “absurd.”
“These guys had the night of their lives, playing with the radio and leaving the vehicle at one point and getting back in,” he says.
After her arrest Lindsay reached a plea deal in the case and spent 84 minutes in jail for DUI.
She also was sued by the passenger in the car she was chasing.
Amy actually managed to make her scheduled headline appearance at the UK Bestival festival. She hit the stage 45 minutes late looking like a drug-addicted mess and some of the festival goers jeered and booed at her performance which was just as shambolic as some of her other more recent ones.
It’s great to see a real celebrity being trashtastic and not give a sh*t what the rest of the world thinks. Go Amy. She can sit back and get some much needed rest since this was her last concert appearance for the year.
Steven Page (from the Barenaked Ladies) was arrested earlier this week, on drug charges.
According to the cops, they discovered Page’s girlfriend’s car parked on a sidewalk with the door open. So officers went up stairs to tell her. They saw Steven seated at the kitchen table with capsules and when they tested him, he was positive for cocaine. Seems kinda weird as we know so many celebrities snort cocaine, and they have never been busted even when caught on camera!
That is not all, Steven has allegedly run off on his wife and kids with someone he met ‘onilne’ Word in the gossip blog sphere says that he has an “online blackbook” so he can hook up with anyone around the world. I am assuming this ‘blackbook’ would be something along the lines of facebook or myspace.
And rumour has it, he’s also allegedly been trying to convince his estranged spouse to liquidate all their assets so he can cash out on her.
Amy has had quite the week what with passing out at home, being taken to hospital and diagnosed with emphysema yet she managed to muster up enough energy to visit the love of her life hubby, Blaaake Incarcerated in jail.
Here she was snapped by the paparazzi buying some little bottles of booze at the store.
So sad.
Hopefully having a few drinks to unwind with the wee bottles seen in this picture was not the reason she was a no show for the Nelson Mandela Birthday Photo shoot.
As she is still on the roster to perform at his party Friday night we’ll have to see if she actually does make it, and what kind of a performance she’ll give!
Supposedly, she has big plans for the concert:
“The rehearsals for the Mandela show have been going so well, her people are worried she’ll go over her allotted two-song time slot….She’s planning to do Love Is A Losing Game and Tears Dry On Their Own, but has hinted she’ll sing Happy Birthday to Mandela like Marilyn Monroe once sang to John F Kennedy.”
