Steven Page (from the Barenaked Ladies) was arrested earlier this week, on drug charges.

According to the cops, they discovered Page’s girlfriend’s car parked on a sidewalk with the door open. So officers went up stairs to tell her. They saw Steven seated at the kitchen table with capsules and when they tested him, he was positive for cocaine. Seems kinda weird as we know so many celebrities snort cocaine,  and they have never been busted even when caught on camera!

That is not all, Steven has allegedly run off on his wife and kids with someone he met ‘onilne’ Word in the gossip blog sphere says that he has an “online blackbook” so he can hook up with anyone around the world. I am assuming this ‘blackbook’ would be something along the lines of facebook or myspace.

And rumour has it, he’s also allegedly been trying to convince his estranged spouse to liquidate all their assets so he can cash out on her.

Amy has had quite the week what with passing out at home, being taken to hospital and diagnosed with emphysema yet she managed to muster up enough energy to visit the love of her life hubby, Blaaake Incarcerated in jail.

Here she was snapped by the paparazzi buying some little bottles of booze at the store.

So sad.

Hopefully having a few drinks to unwind with the wee bottles seen in this picture was not the reason she was a no show for the Nelson Mandela Birthday Photo shoot.

As she is still on the roster to perform at his party Friday night we’ll have to see if she actually does make it, and what kind of a performance she’ll give!

Supposedly, she has big plans for the concert:

The Spears family is really starting to resemble the Lohans. Britney’s Uncle William Spears spoke out about his niece.

After her turbulent early years, Willie says she went “buck-wild” on turning 18, snorting cocaine on her birthday, adding: “She has tried just about everything - cocaine, crystal meth, ecstasy.”..”It got worse when she got famous and she found out that people would do what she wanted them to. She wanted to drink, party and go where she wanted to go. She is a ruthless little thing, make no mistake. Nobody controls her. She bosses everyone around her.”…”Britney is in an unstable state of mind now and there is nothing anyone can do about it. She is not listening to anybody. She has fired all the people around her who cared because she simply doesn’t want people to tell her to stop doing the things she is doing…”If people think she has reached the bottom, they are very wrong.”

It is just not right from him to tell us this, they must have paid him big time. If he was really worried about her he should have confronted her himself not spoke out to the Sun.

It isn’t like we didn’t already know all this stuff anyway. Britney’s drug tests were all clean, so she is just fully crazy now she doesn’t need the drugs anymore.  She also shaved all her hair off in fear of being busted about the drug use. I remember reading about Kevin Federline threatening to send her hair in for analysis.

Mischa Barton was recently busted for drinking, drugging, and driving. The stats have now come out that she was well over the legal limit of 0.8 with a whopping 0.12 and also admitted to smoking weed. I think Mischa’s career is pretty much over, and this almost seems like a desperate cry for help. She figured she might as well drive, and if she gets busted she will get in the tabloids and if she doesn’t then great she can do it again tomorrow. Why not just get a driver?? It’s not as if she doesn’t have the money!

I still can’t figure out why Britney bothers to make that face, she must know it terrifies us!

 Buzz Bishop of 95 Crave in Vancouver interviewed Avril this morning. Here are some of her thoughts about British journalists and the Internet :

  “Whatever, you’re just talking about the Internet. You want me to clear some stuff up for you? Alright, here’s the deal. Today, you know, we live in a world where like people are extremely negative. The Internet is very negative. There’s a lot of websites and stuff, not naming any in particular. But, I don’t know. People are like obsessed with celebrities and they’re obsessed with them failing and doing bad. Personally, I haven’t failed. I haven’t done anything wrong. I feel like I’ve worked really hard and I’ve accomplished a lot. I know a lot of people are like getting DUIs and freaking showing their crotches in paparazzi pictures and going to jail and doing all this crazy stuff and falling. I personally think I’ve kept myself together pretty good. There’s a lot of negativity and I have a record out right now. It’s unfortunate that anytime there’s ever big news, it’s always negative. And I’ll guarantee you anything you’re reading is false.
Everything you read is like false. Sometimes like people have quotes and say things that I didn’t even say, and that’s what they like to do in the UK. They make up artificial quotes and they put them in the magazines. Like Q magazine had all these false quotes that I didn’t put. And the press over here made a big deal about it. A lot of it just ends up on the Internet. People are looking to attack. It’s really unfortunate.”

Seriously… like… she needs to… like… increase her vocab. Then again, she does spit on the paparazzi, so… like… probably not! Not to mention she called up Perez Hilton practically crying on the phone for him to be nice to her. So obviously she cares about the internet and what people say about her. Oh and here is Avril drunk in the backseat of some car flashing the paparazzi her panties!

“Prison Break” star Lane Garrison was sentenced by a judge for a total of forty months in state prison for his DUIcrash that caused the death of 17-year-old Vahagn Setian.

Judge Elden Fox told Lane, “I think you are truly remorseful,” but the reason for sentencing was because “the public needs to know crimes like this need to be punished and, unfortunately, you have to be the messenger.” His sentence was based on Lane’s lack of prior criminal history, that he admitted responsibility, plead guilty and offered the families financial assistance.

Just before he was sentenced Lane who was very emotional, told the victims’ families he was “genuinely remorseful” and “sickened” by his behaviour that night.

He will get credit for 91 days he has already served. That, combined with California’s Work Time/Good Time early release program, means he will do about 20 months in a state prison.

He must also pay close to $300,000 to the Setian family and to the two girls who were in the car.

Look at this mug shot, of Lindsay Lohan’s boyfriend. She sure does pick winners! She is going to turn into Britney picking guys like this. He will get her pregnant then steal her kids! Lindsay is in for some rough times with this guy.

The Medical Board of California said in April it was investigating Eroshevich, who, according to documents, authorized all 11 prescription medications found in Smith’s hotel room the day she died. The medical board also began an inquiry to determine if there was any misconduct by Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, who reportedly prescribed methadone to Smith. Methadone is a popular narcotic painkiller that is used as part of drug addiction detoxification and maintenance programs. Methadone overdoses can cause shallow breathing and dangerous changes in heartbeat. Methadone was one of the substances found in the system of Smith’s 20-year-old son, Daniel, who died in September 2006 of an apparently accidental drug overdose.”

Oh and just so you are clear these are the drugs she was perscribed.

Dilaudid, Lorazepam, Soma, Prixge, and Methadone

Seems like a hefty prescription, you think one of them would have been plenty.  Seriously what doctor would allow someone to be totally drugged out all the time. I really think an investigation should be done. I know you are all probably sick of this soap opera but I thought I should keep you guys semi informed.

I really think something is wrong with Britney Spears. She needs to be checked into a mental institution. There is no reason for her to be flashing her vag anymore. I thought she apologized to her fans and told them she went and bought all new panties. I think she is a drowning rat, and is doing anything to stay afloat. She loves the attention the paparazzi give her and will do anything to keep them taking pictures, and have people talking about her.
