Footballer David Beckham has revealed he isn’t done with having kids and would like one more baby. The LA Galaxy star and wife Victoria became parents for the fourth time when their baby daughter Harper was born earlier this month. The couple also have three sons – Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and Cruz, six – and he was recently asked if they want another baby. He said to Extra: “If we’re lucky enough, we hope to have one more.” The footballer also said having a daughter is a completely different experience to having sons. He said: “It’s different having a little girl, she’s elegant. All the boys won’t leave her alone, which is amazing. Can’t wait to get home to see her.”
Footballer David Beckham is teaming up with H&M to make a new Bodywear range for men. The 36-year-old dad will be producing his new line for the brand that will exclusively go on sale at the retailer’s 1800 stores in 40 countries around the world. A number of ranges are planned for the new collection but the first will be launched in February next year. Beckham said: “Over the past year, I’ve been developing my Bodywear range with my team and I’m extremely positive about what we have designed and produced. “The final piece in the jigsaw was a retail partner who has the vision and capability to distribute these products globally. “In H&M we have found the perfect partner to collaborate with going forward, I’m excited and looking forward to showcasing the range to H&M customers from February.”
David Beckham has had his $25m lawsuit against allegations that he cheated on his wife with a prostitute, thrown out by a US judge. The 35-year-old footballer has been planning to sue In Touch after it published claims made by vice girl Irma Nici that he paid her and a mystery brunette £1,800 for sex at a New York hotel in 2007. But under American law, to proceed with the case, Beckham’s lawyer needed to prove that the magazine acted with ‘malice’. However, Sky News reported that district judge Manuel Real ruled there was no evidence of malice and that whether true or not, the matter was of public interest. The father-of-three’s lawyer Richard Kendall argued that In Touch failed to check its facts as that would have revealed that Beckham was elsewhere when the alleged affair took place. A lawyer for In Touch owner Bauer Publishing said the judge made the proper ruling. However a spokesman for Becks said, “Bauer do not dispute for purposes of this motion that their story is false. They have not provided one shred of evidence to support the claim this story is true. David Beckham’s clear evidence proved that this is without foundation. “We have already won a court ruling in Germany and are awaiting damages. Unfortunately, the US legal system requires us to show that the magazine acted maliciously. “Any knowledgeable person knows this story not to be true, we will continue to fight this in court, and the decision will be appealed.”
Kind-hearted David Beckham helped push a young family to safety after their car broke down on a roundabout. Paul Long, 47, said he was ‘petrified’ for the safety of children Fabien, eight, and Josephine, six, who were in the back of the car when its gearbox failed on a road near the footballer’s home in Herefordshire, England. He told The Sun, “It was hair-raising having children in the back. We had been there for ten minutes. I couldn’t do anything – cars were whizzing past.” Then he spotted a top-of-the-range Audi pull over and was amazed to see Beckham heading over to help. “As he got out I said to the kids, ‘It’s just a hoodie’,” Paul said. “Then the hood slipped down to reveal him in a bobble hat. He had negotiated his way through the traffic on foot. “I wound the window down and said, ‘You’re David Beckham!’ His next words were, ‘Are you OK?’ “I said, ‘Yes, but can you push us over to the side?’ He said, ‘I’ll try’.” After the pair and another bystander managed to push the car to safety, he said, “The emotion of it all got to me. “I said, ‘Thank you David. I love you, mate!’ I think he was slightly embarrassed. My kids were awestruck.” A spokesman for Beckham confirmed that he helped the family.

The superstar couple are expecting their fourth baby later on this year and Becks, 35, has been showing off his new rapping skills so his unborn baby gets used to the sound of his voice. A source said to UK newspaper Daily Star: “The current favourites are Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent. It cheers her up and has them all in stitches.” Beckham has been getting his sons – Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, eight, and Cruz, five – to rap along with him as they also sing to their little sibling. Beckham is good pals with US rapper Snoop Dogg and a few years ago the footballer taught Snoop’s kids how to play the beautiful game.
David and Victoria Beckham are to be invited to the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, according to reports. According to UK newspaper the Sunday Mirror, the 35-year-old football star and William, 28, have become friends as they lead England’s bid to host the 2018 World Cup. A source told the newspaper: “David texted William as soon as he heard [about the wedding], and William told him an invite was on its way. “David and Victoria were both thrilled and can’t wait.” The 36-year-old former Spice Girls singer and her hubby will reportedly join a host of celebrities, including Sir Elton John and Sir Paul McCartney, for the wedding at Westminster Abbey on 29 April next year. President Obama and wife Michelle are also said to be on the guest-list, which will be officially announced at the end of February.
David Beckham is flying to Zurich to put his support behind England’s bid to become the host of the 2018 World Cup. The 35-year-old footballer is taking a trip to the city along with Prime Minister David Cameron and Prince William as Fifa prepare to announce which country will host the event in eight years time. Beckham said: “Hopefully I will make a difference. We are going to Fifa because we need to tell them why we feel it’s the right thing for us to get the World Cup.” The footballer, who plays for US team LA Galaxy, recently visited the 2012 Olympic Stadium with Lord Coe.
Footballer David Beckham has revealed that he shared his first kiss with wife Victoria in a pub.
The 35-year-old LA Galaxy player admitted he was only able to keep his relationship with the then-Spice Girls star secret for three months.
Speaking in an online web chat, he said: “The first three months were great, keeping it quiet wasn’t easy, I wasn’t as well known as her and having Posh Spice in your car is difficult.
“We had our first kiss in a pub near my mum’s and I showed my boys the other day.”
The couple have been married for 11 years now and have three sons together – Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.
Simon Cowell topped Piers Morgan’s list of UK “celebrities that really matter”, beating out what he called shoals of Z-listers.
Morgan put together his top 100 roster of British celebrities that really matter for the Daily Mail newspaper. He is a journalist and former editor of News Of The World and The Daily Mirror whose ITV-1 tell-all interview with Cowell aired on the weekend.
Morgan writes: “There are thousands of ‘celebrities’ in Britain. By which I mean there are a lot of famous people. Many of whom have absolutely no right to be. Whole shoals of Z-list wannabes, scrabbling for their 15 minutes of recognition on increasingly degrading reality-TV shows, desperate for fame of any kind. So it’s time to sort the chaff from the wheat, and resolve once and for all who really counts in the world of celebrity in this country.”
He put David Beckham at No. 2, Cheryl Cole at No. 3 and Prince William at No. 4, UPI reports.
David Beckham has recounted a game played by Tom Cruise in which he was required to sing.
The football star told George Lopez that Cruise at a restaurant one night said: “OK, let’s play a music game. Let’s start a singing game.”
Beckham, who regards singing as his “worst nightmare”, was not thrilled. So he went about getting out of the game, going so far as to text a friend at a nearby table to help him out.
He did reserve praise for Cruise, who took Becks and his wife Victoria under his wing when they landed in Hollywood. He said the actor is “one of the most handsome men I’ve ever met”.
