House star Olivia Wilde has told how she inadvertently screamed down the phone at US President, Barack Obama.
The then White House hopeful had called the actress to thank her for her help in his election campaign.
When she hung up the phone, she began shouting uncontrollably.
But then she realised he was still on the line – and could hear every word she was saying.
She added: “I was just squealing and squawking, trying to replay the whole thing.
“It was awful – horrifying!
“But apparently he was flattered.”
The screen beauty – who topped Maxim magazine’s 2009 Hot 100 List earlier this year – told a men’s mag that she struggles with the idea that she is a sex symbol.
The 25-year-old said: “The only role I really don’t understand is this recent sort of ’sexiest-vixen’ thing.
“It doesn’t feel like me, doesn’t feel natural.”

House star Kal Penn has started a job as a White House intern.
Penn, 31, worked on President Barack Obama’s electoral campaign last year.
He has now started work as a liaison between the White House and Asian communities in the Office of Public Liaison.
Penn is going back to his given name, Kalpen Modi, for the new role.
He said, “I expect to be treated like any other staff member.”
The former actor went on to describe the job as a “front door to the White House.”
Penn said he started his day like anybody else, brushing and flossing his teeth before taking the bus to work.
He also said he did not mind the drop in pay that came with the move.
Penn shot to fame on the hit medical drama alongside Brit actor Hugh Laurie.
