Hmm, they don’t know if it’s a boy or girl but they are going to put “him” in a black room. Is that a slip of the tongue? Anyhoo… I think a black nursery is a bad idea, although some trendy parents will probably copy-cat the idea.
Lionel Richie was in Santa Monica to accept the “Icon” honor at last Sunday night’s taping of the TV Land Awards, when he received a different round of applause for being the dad of daughter Nicole.
“Forget about surviving 40 years in the music business,” he told the audience. “Just surviving 27 years of Nicole Richie has been a struggle-and-a-half, I want to tell you. I stand here as a survivor, I want you to know, for all the parents out there.”
Guess he is still recovering from all the nonsense his daughter put him through in 2007. Nicole served 82 minutes in jail after being convicted of DUI of drugs. She was arrested in December 2006 after witnesses reported seeing her Benz SUV driving down the wrong way on a freeway in Burbank, Calif.
Nicole, who became famous in her own right for her stint on Fox’s “The Simple Life” along with Paris Hilton, has been behaving herself ever since. Well sort of… she gave birth to her daughter Harlow with Joel Madden three months ago.
The sixth annual TV Land Awards are scheduled to air June 15 on the cable network.
Now this is interesting news! The proud mama to be who is due in August is a music producer and sister of famous music producer David Foster. Apparently she’s produced some of Clay’s albums and they’ve been good friends for some time now.
The baby was conceived by artificial insemination and Clay plans on actively participating in the parenting part of the gig!
Seems as if Joel Madden and Nicole Richie have no plans to make things legal by getting married .
He told Us Mag,
“Not anytime soon,” he answered when asked if they have plans to wed.
He did say he was looking forward to Mother’s Day:
“I don’t have any [plans] yet but I’m going to plan something special,” he told Us at the Hornitos Cinco de Mayo Party at Crown Bar in West Hollywood Monday.
“She is a great mom,” Madden said. “She is super mom!”
He hinted that baby Harlow might be a future rock star: “We turn music on and she can’t stand yet but she definitely tries to dance and move to the beat even though she’s not standing or walking,” he told Us.
We all wondered why Beyonce and Jay Z rushed to get married so quickly once the news broke about their engagement. Well we all figured that B must have been knocked up. Why else would Jay Z all of a sudden propose after such a long time. It seemed as though they were never going to get married at one point.
I bet she was fed up of not being married so skipped a few pills and bam! -Baby in the oven! Jay Z proposed they rushed the wedding and now they will wait for a few months to ‘announce’ the news.
A source said, “Beyonce is 100% pregnant.” They also claim that Beyonce and Jay-Z got married so quickly because of Beyonce’s strong Christian beliefs. If Beyonce beliefs were so strong, why would she even be having sex before marriage hmm?
I love how Winehouse is shooting a vodka shot in one hand, and holding a baby in the other! What a great mother she will make one day. I hope she isn’t too drunk, because if she stumbles and falls with that kid on her hip it could be treacherous. I can’t believe she let the papparazzi catch her slugging back a shot! She really just doesn’t care what people think anymore. Then again Amy has worse problems than alcohol.
Gwen Stefani is apparently pregnant again. She was out in Orange County with her dad and Kingston in a moo moo type dress. You could maybe call the dress a tent rather than a moo moo.
I guess she is trying to live the whole ‘housewife’ thing to the fullest.

Jennifer Lopez has given birth to twins! The first was a girl weighing 5 pounds, 7 ounces. Her boy came second weighing in at 6 pounds. She gave birth at a Long Island hospital but the actual location was not identified.
“She’s thrilled,” Lopez’s manager, Simon Fields, told The Associated Press. He said the babies were born “just after midnight this morning.”
Star is exclusively reporting that Nelly Furtado, is expecting with her sound engineer fiancé Demacio Castellon. Star claims a source close to her told them: “She’s not very far along yet, so she’s trying to keep the pregnancy under wraps.”
If true, this will be her second child. She has a four-year-old daughter named Nevis whose daddy is her ex-boyfriend DJ Jasper Gahunia. They broke up in 2005 after four years together.
Time will tell. It’s baby bump watch time!
It has been awhile since youngster Jamie Lynn has been photographed. I guess all the morning sickness is getting to her. I wonder what goes on inside this girls head. She probably looks up to Britney so much. I hope that she realizes that Britney is off the deep end, and wants to be nothing like her. I think her wishy washy boyfriend will come around soon, when he finds out he can make a killing in child support off Jamie.
