Pete Wentz thinks that there are rumors going around that Ashlee is knocked up. I don’t know if I have been out of the looop but I haven’t noticed any during my web surfing. Either way I don’t think Ashlee is pregnant yet, but I am sure her baby clock is ticking considering all the others stars are having babies, almost like it is the ‘thing to do’.

“There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood. This is all news to me. I can’t wait for the story about how I’m really in a gay relationship and this is all just a cover. … I mean really, this is crazy. … I mean we’re engaged, that’s true, and happy about it.”

The scoop is that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are engaged! Source said “He got down on one knee and she said yes,” a family friend says. “She has an amazing ring, and they are so in love.”

Ashlee just released an official statement saying, “We know there has been a lot of speculation recently about Pete and I and we wanted our fans to be the first to know, because you guys are the best. Yes, we are thrilled to share that we are happily engaged. Thank you for all of your support and well wishes - it means the world to us. Looks like its official… congrats Pete and Ash I hope you guys last for a very long time!

Kara DioGuardi, The Neptunes, Kenna, John Legend, will.i.am, P. Diddy and Pharrell. are collaborating with her on it, and I can’t wait to hear more since she hasn’t released an album since 2005’s I Am Me.

Ashlee Simpson went to Miami Beach, FL to party with her boy Pete Wentz. He was asked to host the Belvedere Halloween Bash on Thursday at the Miami hot spot Cameo Night Club. Check out the tongue tango he’s doing with Travis McCoy from Gym Class Heroes. Looks like Pete made sure to spread his luvin’ around and pose for a snuggle shot with her. Doesn’t look like they dressed up on costume though, and if they did…not sure what look they were going for!
