George Clooney has reportedly banned long-time friend Brad Pitt and his partner Angelina Jolie from his house after their kids allegedly ran riot. The men became firm friends after starring in Oceans Eleven 10 years ago, but a source told the Daily Star that when his six children were invited over to Clooney’s Italian mansion, they trashed the house, moved furniture and messed with his clothes while their parents said nothing. The insider told the newspaper that despite his friendship with Brad, Clooney does not have the same love for Angelina. “She has always considered George to be a hard-drinking, skirt-chasing bad influence on Brad,” the source said. “She hates the whole boy’s club mentality. “When Brad was working on Ocean’s Thirteen in Las Vegas, she was afraid George would lead him astray. “George can semi-tolerate Angelina because of her human rights work but he never really liked her.”

Clint Eastwood has some words of wisdom for Angelina Jolie as she prepares to direct her first feature – make sure she gets enough shut-eye. “My advice for her is to get more sleep than the actors,” the 80-year-old told People at the premiere of his latest film Hereafter at the Toronto International Film Festival. Jolie recently announced she was set to helm a love story set during the Bosnian war that she had written. Eastwood said he was confident the 35-year-old would find success behind the camera. “She’s a very intelligent gal,” the Hollywood veteran said. “I know she’ll do great. I haven’t discussed it with her on this particular occasion, but I know she’ll be tough to stop. She has great a work ethic and she’s very smart. I’m looking forward to seeing what she does.”

Salt star Angelina Jolie is to make her directorial debut in a new Bosnian love story.

Jolie, 35, will start shooting the movie later this year and said it will feature stars from different ethnicities from the former Yugoslavia.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film centres around a couple who meet as the war starts and it follows their journey and relationship throughout the fighting.

In a statement released by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Jolie said: “The film is a love story, not a political statement.”

Jolie recently flew to Sarajevo in Bosnia where she sat down with UNHCR representative Naveed Hussain and Haris Silajdzic, Muslim member of the Bosnian tripartite Presidency.

She was also scouting locations for the movie, which will be set in the 1992-95 Bosnian War.
