Filled in: The Scottish singing sensation is apparently gearing up to go into the studio and record another album. It seems that Simon Cowell truly has big plans for Susan Boyle and after all… he has to finance The X Factor in the US somehow. So the singer will be recording her second album together with producer Steve Mac and the record will consist of more covers of classic songs. One wouldn’t want Susan Boyle going overboard with the originality now. After all, her first album has sold so well and those are the kinds of values that Simon Cowell promotes… why change a working system?

Alesha Dixon revealed some details about her new upcoming album. The album will be named “Unleashed”. The singer announced that for the preparation of this album she collaborated with the producer Jim Beanz, well known for the production of Nelly Furtado’s “Loose” album and Xenomania’s “The Alesha Show”. According to digitalspy.co.uk the album will be released at the end of August this year. In a message posted on her web page, Alesha said that she is very thrilled about this new album. There are only a few details to put in place, and the album id ready to co0me out.

The extremely troubled and full of debt singer is apparently going to take a swing at her profession too since it’s been such a long while. So Courtney Love has decided to release another album to show everybody that she still thinks she can sing, but the album will be released under the original band, The Hole. Courtney Love had this to say about the endeavor: “Wherever I lay my head is Hole. It’s four letters. It is one of the best band names in fucking history, if I do say so myself. For a while I was a little embarrassed it was maybe vulgar, but at least it’s not phallic. It’s H-O-L-E, it’s a great band name, and it’s mine.” Well, it’s probably just Courtney Love that says that… “hole” doesn’t really inspire too much, but hey, as far as grunge is concerned, Kurt Cobain would be proud.

U2 kicked off the North American leg of their 360° Tour on September 13th, and cameras have been rolling during the shows and behind the scenes. Green Day has just premiered the video for their new single, “21 Guns,” exclusively on MySpace Music. The video was helmed by noted director Marc Webb, who has lensed clips for such artists as My Chemical Romance, Weezer, and All-American Rejects, and is making his feature film directorial debut in July with (500) Days of Summer.
“21 Guns” is the second single from the band’s latest album 21st Century Breakdown, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, as well as on the Rock, Active Rock, and Alternative charts, fueled by the Alternative radio No. 1 single “Know Your Enemy.” 21st Century Breakdown, which Rolling Stone has called “a rock opera in which the rock always comes first,” also topped the charts in 24 countries including the UK, Canada, and Japan.
Over the past month, Green Day has continued to work with MySpace Music for the promotion of 21st Century Breakdown. During the week of the album’s release, they played an exclusive concert in New York City which was filmed for the site’s premiere online concert program, The List. The performance can now be seen on The List’s official MySpace profile.
This year’s show will take place at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 9th, and air the next day, Monday, August 10th, on FOX at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Fans can vote for Green Day at http://www.teenchoiceawards.com/.

Black Eyed Peas ‘The E.N.D.’ Lands At #1 On The Billboard 200 Chart
Black Eyed Peas’ “The E.N.D.” bows at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 304,000 — the hip-pop act’s best sales week ever. It’s also the first No. 1 album for the group, which had previously gone as high as No. 2. Its last set, 2005’s “Monkey Business,” bowed in the runner-up slot with a then-best 291,000. It had the unfortunate luck to come out the same week as Coldplay’s “X&Y,” which kept the Peas’ at bay when it started at No. 1 with 737,000. -via Billboard.com

Jesse McCartney sat down with Rap-Up.com to promote the re-release of his third CD, Departure.

On the inspiration behind his latest album, Departure: “The songs definitely have to do with a certain girl. Makes for good songwriting.”
On his eating habits: “I eat way too much junk food out on the road. I come back like 10 pounds heavier and out of shape. When I’m home, I try to eat healthy, try to take care…I love sushi. I like comfort food too. When I’m on the road, I’m eating pizza and chicken and all sorts of bad fried food. Fast food, the worst kind you can eat. When I’m home, I try to do a lot of cooking and I eat as healthy as I can.”
On teaming up with Toni Braxton: “I did a record for Toni Braxton called ‘My Ring’s Too Heavy.’ Three weeks later, Beyoncé came out with a record called ‘Single Ladies’ and it sort of has a hand and a ring theme behind it. No offense to Beyoncé, I think Toni’s is a little bit better in my opinion, but we’ll have to see what the charts do.”
I think that certain girl is Katie Cassidy. They dated for about four years. But recently, a few months ago, they broke up because Katie said Jesse was always away touring.

Kelly Clarkson has just completed shooting her new music video for her next single, “I Do Not Hook Up.”
Kelly had this to say on her blog,
“So I just got the video and it’s hilarious! Watching me crawl across a table attempting to be sexy in a fantasy is pretty funny to say the least 
I hope y’all like it. We had a lot of fun making it! Bryan Barber directed it and this was our second time to work together. He’s super cool and very colorful when it comes to videos!”

Rihanna wearing J Brand “912 wounded knee” jeans in dark vintage was out with her assistant Melissa Forde for dinner at Da Silvano restaurant in New York City’s West Village last night and afterwards, the two went to see a movie.
Earlier this week, Rihanna and Melissa were seen at a Honolulu Airport in Hawaii this past Wednesday. No one really saw much of her out and about in that sunny state as a guest at their hotel said:
“Rihanna hasn’t left her room except to go to the studio.”
Here she is in the Bahamas today. Way to rack up the frequent flyer miles and leave a carbon footprint!
Her boy Chris Brown is due in court Monday to face the charges against him. Wonder if she’ll show up there?
