It seems the singer is pretty keen on getting an invitation to the royal wedding between Prince William and Kate Middleton. This is what Cheryl Cole had to say about this particular hope of hers: "I’ve met William a couple of times but never Kate. I can’t wait for the royal wedding – hopefully I’ll be watching from an aisle! I’m going to ask Prince Charles where my invite to the royal wedding is. I think it got lost in the post, there must be a delay with the Royal Mail." Well, well, it seems that Cheryl Cole isn’t above pulling a few strings to get into the wedding… but why shouldn’t she? After all, she is a notable element of the UK’s economy.
Ryan Phillippe has revealed how he and ex-wife Reese Witherspoon were reduced to tears by a speech on clean water for Africa given by their daughter Ava. The couple split in 2007 but share custody of Ava, 11, and Deacon, seven, and Phillippe said that they both broke down when they saw how well-rounded and thoughtful their daughter had turned out. Talking to OK! Magazine, he explained, “I grew up pretty humbly, and my parents struggled to pay the bills. The life my children are living is completely different so I try to pass onto them that notion of how fortunate they are. “But one of the most rewarding things is when they come up with something themselves – my son the other day wanted to donate his piggy bank, which was a couple of hundred dollars in coins, and my daughter had an assignment to do her version of the I Have A Dream speech (by Martin Luther King, Jr.). “She wrote this incredibly eloquent, well thought out speech about clean water for Africa and she gave it in front of the whole school. “Reese and I showed up and we both had tears coming down. You realise that regardless of the fact that you live in the public eye or that the marriage didn’t work out, these kids are happy and good people.”

The singer who some time ago underwent some pretty serious head trauma and had to go through some serious medical treatment has apparently found someone to blame for it all: The Tony Awards. Apparently it was his accident at the 2009 ceremony that brought him in that condition, or so Bret Michaels believes. This is what Bret Michael’s attorney had to say on the matter: “The Tony Awards dropped a piece of the stage on Bret’s head, and then instead of doing the right thing, joked about it and played it off for ratings … Bret never wanted to file a lawsuit, but the Tony Awards have left us with no choice. They must be held accountable for almost killing Bret, and that is what we are going to do.” If there is justice to be done, then Bret Michaels must seek it out… after all, as the old saying goes: better late than never.
Khloe Kardashian has insisted she is happy to wait to fall pregnant naturally. Rumours she had turned to brother Rob to help her and husband Lamar Odum conceive have been doing the rounds. But the reality star said they are happy to just enjoy married life for the time being. She told People: “I’m not desperate to have a baby. Do I want children? Yes. But I’m very happy being just Lamar and I. I think a baby would add so much to us, but right now, I’m so content and so happy with the way things are. People think I would sell my hair to have a child.” She added: “We feel like we’re young and whatever is meant to happen is meant to happen. I’m healthy, I know I can have children. He can have children. It’s like we’re not doing anything to stop it, but I don’t have like an ovulation calendar and all that.”

It seems the internet sensation was not aware of the fact that super-pop-star Lady GaGa recently had some very nice things to say about her, so when she did an interview with Entertainment Weekly, one can imagine how utterly surprised and fabulous Rebecca Black was to hear of this. This was her reaction to the whole thing: “That’s so cool! I feel so star-struck, even though I haven’t met her. It’s so surreal, it’s so crazy. I was just listening to “Born this Way.” I really love all of her songs, I have almost every song of hers on my iPod and I think she’s really a lyrical genius. Her songs are just so upbeat and fun and catchy.” Well, that settles it… Rebecca Black is gone. From now on she will probably be known as Lady GaGa’s number one fan.
Courteney Cox and David Arquette have revealed how filming Scream 4 was a bit of a family affair. The estranged couple – who met on the set of the first Scream in 1996 – talked openly about their relationship during a short press conference for the movie on Wednesday. Asked about making the latest instalment of the horror flick, Arquette, 39, told People, “There’s a real family feeling. Especially with Courteney being married and having a kid (their six-year-old daughter Coco), it just brings an honesty, and that is really my favourite part of acting.” “It felt very natural,” Cox, 46, added. “We have had 10 more years of experience of acting, so I was that much more confident. I am now a mum, and I am just different person, but it’s coming back with your family. You know each other, and you kind of just get right back into it and are better than you were last time.” Cox plays go-getting reporter Gale Weathers, while Arquette plays her on-screen lover, Sheriff Dewey Riley, and the former Friends actress drew comparison to their real-life relationship. “It is so funny that he is so earnest and she is so out to get ahead,” she says. “It is just a very odd pairing, and so are we. Well, we are not really, but we kind of are. I love playing Gale. She is probably the most fun to play when it comes to playing a real character.”

Actor David Arquette has said he is working on his relationship with ex Courteney Cox. The pair, who split in October 2010, reunited during the recent junket for their upcoming film Scream 4. Cox, 46, and Arquette, 39, joked, shared a hug and even exchanged interview seats while discussing the fourth installment of the movie series. David told ETOnline.com: “We’re separated, we’re working on ourselves and our relationship, and sort of figuring out what we want. You know, life’s complicated and people go through changes. And I’ve been reading a lot of things about myself, reading books that talk about feelings and changes, and she’s been working on herself a lot too. “The great thing is that we really love each other and that we’re really amazing parents together, very supportive – I’m her biggest fan and she’s my biggest fan. You know, that’s what it’s all about really.” Courteney added: “It was very easy, we really respect each other and we help each other. I mean, I respect his opinion so much that I’m always asking him ‘What do you think.’ I think it’s very easy, it’s very, very easy to work with him.” Arquette says that being on the set with the star makes him a better actor. He added: “I really love acting with Courteney. I always have fun. It’s always, you know, we’re really loose and it’s easy to feel real, like they’re real moments. That’s my favourite part about acting, when you connect with something where it feels like, you know, you can actually believe it inside.” Scream 4 hits cinemas in the US on April 15.
