A bankrupt former air stewardess who had sex with Hollywood actor Ralph Fiennes (pictured) while up in the air on a Qantas jet concealed a $201,000 fee from trustees she was paid for selling her story to a British tabloid and to 60 minutes.
The woman, Lisa Cherie Robertson, was fired from her stewardess job and in the past was a police officer and a one-time call girl. She pleaded guilty yesterday to keeping the funds hidden from trustees who sought repayment of debts of $460,000.
She told a Melbourne Magistrates court that she lived like a hermit “trying to live down her past”.
Robertson, 41, who is bankrupt, also pleaded guilty to attempting to leave Australia for a holiday in Thailand despite being banned from international travel because she was bankrupt.
Her lawyer said she suffered from depression since disarming a policeman who shot and killed a fellow officer in New South Wales. After leaving the force, she sued NSW police but lost the case and was ordered to pay Crown legal costs of AUD$300,000, which put her into bankruptcy.
After she was paid for the sex story in 2007, Robertson put the funds into an international account. Her lawyer said she was conned out of the money.
