New Moon actress Kristen Stewart has called her co-star Taylor Lautner ‘buff’ in a new interview.

The 19-year-old star plays the role of Bella Swan in the hit Twilight movies.

Lautner, 17, considered quitting the movie but decided instead to get fit to reprise the role of Jacob Black.

Stewart said: “Taylor still playing Jacob was the coolest thing. It was under deliberation so I’m glad he did it. And he looked so buff!

“I saw the steady progression from Twilight Taylor to New Moon Taylor – but if I hadn’t, I don’t think I’d have recognised him.”
