Heather Locklear who turned up the volume with her return to Melrose Place this week has dashed rumours she was to star in a revival of TJ Hooker.
Locklear starred in the original series that was a smash-hit Aaron Spelling production in the 1980s, appearing in its premiere opposite William Shatner’s title character.
But the 48-and-fabulous Locklear said: “They haven’t asked me. I don’t think they’ve asked (former co-star) Adrian Zmed, but I’m sure William Shatner is willing to do it. I can’t see why not. Maybe (I’ll see the film) when it comes out on DVD or something.”
Meanwhile, Locklear was said to have returned to form as Amanda Woodward in her debut on 2009’s Melrose Place. The LA Times joked that she shot a withering glance that devastated another character before attacking the decor.
