Kim Kardashian said she was “so honoured” to be asked by Tyra Banks to appear as a guest judge on America’s Next Top Model.

The 29-year-old joined the judge’s panel on an episode of the CW show and she was over the moon to be asked to appear.

She said to PEOPLE: “They called and asked me to be a part of it and I totally look up to Tyra so I was so excited. I really admire her business sense and who she is.

“I get along with her really well. I was so honored when she asked me to do it.”

Kim admitted that she loves the show because it’s got the “real excitement factor”.

She said: “I’m such a huge fan, always was. I watched it from the start. It teaches girls what it really takes to be a model.

“Sometimes people think it’s the easiest job in the world to just pose and all you’re doing is taking pictures, but that’s just a small side to it.

“There’s the business side of things and of course it’s really competitive and it’s got a real excitement factor.”
