Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are reportedly arguing over whether to have another child.
The superstar couple are already parents to three-year-old daughter Suri, and a British pal of the pair says Cruise, 47, is keen for them to have another.
The pal said to British newspaper the Sunday Express: “They are arguing a lot because Tom feels he is getting on in age [he's 47] and he thinks Katie owes it to him and Suri to get pregnant.
“He says he would be in his 60s while the child was young and that’s still just about OK to share in the child’s life. Katie feels Tom is more wound up about this than he’s ever been and relations between them are at a really tricky stage.
“She’s only 30 and she’s not sure about having another baby right now. But then she feels guilty about Suri being an only child, especially as she grew up in a big family herself.”
Melissa Joan Hart lost her groove on Dancing With The Stars and was booted from the show along with Louie Vito.
Hart, Vito and their pro-partners were dropped from the nail-biting race in Los Angeles.
Hart, a former television witch, was philosophical. “That’s the game. It’s tough,” she said. “I was hoping to make it one more week. My husband was coming next week with my kids, but that’s all right. I’ll go home to them now.”
Vito, a snowboarder, said: “It’s a lot harder than it looks. Dealing with frustration, nerves because you’re doing something you’re not comfortable with in front of millions and millions of people. And every day I got up there and danced, I was just proud of myself for getting out there.”
Celebs Kelly Osbourne and Donny Osmond, who has an Australian dance partner, are still in the running. Osbourne rallied after injuring her foot with a shoe buckle.
Stephanie Pratt, 23, has been formally charged with drink-driving after her early-morning arrest two Sundays ago in Hollywood.
Pratt, a star on The Hills, was pulled over at 3.45 am after leaving Holly Montag’s birthday bash, which ironically was not attended by her high-profile sister-in-law.
Pratt faces up to six months in jail and a $1000 fine if she is convicted. She registered an .08 and .09 reading in two breathalyser tests. The legal limit in California is .08. She was taken into custody on $5000 bail.
The star later said on her Twitter page: “i was pulled over 4 tinted windows 3 blocks from where i was sleeping and blew a .08. which was 2 drinks. i made the wrong choice to drive and i take full responsibility.”
She added: “i would never put other peoples lives at risk and want to be very clear that i was not pulled over for unsafe driving. 2 drinks … call a taxi! pls learn from my mistake. love u alllll!”
Unscathed by his motorbike tumble, Brad Pitt has repaired with Angelina Jolie to an intimate Italian restaurant for a cosy dinner date.
The Hollywood power couple were seen out in Tinseltown together dressed in black. They were seen to hold hands as they walked together and appeared to be having fun.
The sighting showed Pitt was no worse for wear after the accident. Circumstances around the incident remain hazy but one report said his mirror was clipped by another vehicle, while others claimed he was nudged forward by a paparazzo.
Pitt has taken a second set of digs in LA and is also keen on a man cave he reportedly keeps at his family home with Jolie.
The couple, whose relationship was said to be straining, have six children ranging from 15 months to eight years old.
Larry Birkhead has settled a long-running dispute over fees with celebrity attorney Debra Opri.
Birkhead sued Opri in dispute of legal fees she charged him after driving his defence in a paternity claim involving the daughter of Anna Nicole Smith who died in 2007.
Opri travelled with Birkhead to the Bahamas to make the brave claim, but he later fired her. When she sent her fee, which included a US$2,467.75 dinner, Birkhead disputed the amount and filed suit. The fiesty Opri countersued.
TMZ said it obtained legal documents which show the case has been dismissed with prejudice, amounting to an out-of-court settlement. The amount was not disclosed.
Birkhead’s paternity was proved and he has taken custody of the child, Dannielynn Hope Marshall Birkhead, 3.
Remember Adam Lambert? Of course you do, he’s one of the latest products of the American Idol industry. Well, it seems that Adam Lambert is set to release his first ever record and Oprah thought it would be fun to chat with him a bit… even though they managed to do it only via Skype. Here’s the motivational phrase that Adam Lambert used on Oprah Winfrey’s show: “I was born to be wild and I’m gonna keep on being born to be wild!” It seems Adam Lambert is in a serious existential predicament here… being born continuously, that must suck… especially a wild birth, as he describes it.
The singer whose daughter recently got engaged admitted recently that he only gave her new fiancée permission to propose to her, but in no way was he to marry her. This is what Ozzy Osbourne related on the matter: “I said: ‘You can propose, but don’t even think about getting married, don’t even go there!’ But Kelly’s not a baby, I can’t tell her what to do, but I’ve said if they want to give it a try, live together first. I think it’s better they’re with each other because they want to be – not because they have to. And everyone seems to get divorced these days.” Yeah, but divorce is fun too, they can get back together again and Ozzy Osbourne has something new to look forward to: helping his daughter get through the rough times in a relationship. It could be a very bonding experience.
Lindsay Lohan has been dropped by her record label Casablanca Records, reports say.
The troubled starlet, whose personal life has imploded, is now suffering career difficulties. In recent weeks, her fashion collaboration with Emanuel Ungaro was widely panned and now in adding salt to the wound, claims that she did the work for free have emerged.
Lohan had been recording with Casablanca for a year, one source said. “Casablanca has suspended all further recording sessions of her album and put their working relationship with her on hold. Lindsay was committed to making music and has been working on it for 16 months. She is going to do what she can to keep her music career going,” said the source.
Lohan reportedly collected a substantial chunk of free clothing for her Paris Fashion Week consultation gig with Ungaro, but was not paid.
“Ungaro is not paying her at all to be a consultant for them. Her team is working to get Lindsay some form of payment from the fashion house, but right now they will only give her free clothes,” said the source.
Lohan, meanwhile, is locked in battle with her father, Michael, who she accused of spreading lies and seeking publicity at her expense.
Jennifer Aniston is to get her own TV talk show, according to reports. The former Friends star is said to have agreed to do a weekly show for Oprah Winfrey’s new US cable channel, OWN, when it launches next year.
“She is doing this for one reason only; she absolutely wants to do it,” a source close to the deal said.
A representative for Aniston, 40, was unavailable for comment.
