Benji Madden’s love for Paris has inspired him to compose a song for her. She told People:
“He surprised me with it. It’s called, ‘Shine Your Light.’ It’s this really beautiful love song about me. It was the sweetest thing that anyone has ever done for me.” She added :, “He’s my best friend. He’s just different from any guy that I’ve ever been with. I just trust him completely, and I know that he’d be there for me, no matter what
Umm, if he is her best friend then she really doesn’t need to do that new reality show now does she?

Mariah and Nic started collaborating together when he was asked to do a cameo in her new video but ended up working as her director. Nick was previously engaged to lingerie model Selita Ebanks, but they called it off a few months ago.
He is 11 years younger than Mariah, so I wonder if it will last.
He happens to be known as a big spender who loves to lavish his ladies with expensive bling, check out the ring on her finger, wonder if it is a gift from him?!

John Lennon’s widow Yoko Ono is set to be in a Boston court next week in hopes to stop footage of her late husband smoking pot, writing songs and discussing putting the drug LSD is President Richard Nixon’s tea from going public. Ironically, the footage was taped by Yoko’s ex-husband Anthony Cox for a documentary. Rolling Stone magazine dubs the video as “awesome John Lennon footage you might never see.” The video nearly premiered last year at the private Berwick Academy in Maine but it was scrapped when the school receive a cease and desist order from Yoko’s lawyers. A tape that juicy needs to be seen. I want to see it!

Mariah spent a considerable amount of time in the UK to promote her latest album ‘E=MC2’, albeit, she was lip synching in all her appearances, which may be why her efforts just ended up in vain. Mariah’s new CD has officially bombed over at the other side of the pond. Her album failed to meet expectations, underperformed and only came in at #3 this week. And just who beat her to the top? The Kooks’ album came in at #1 while Madonna has the #1 single in the UK. Here’s to hoping that Mariah and her album do better in the US.

Lindsay was in NYC last night with her bff Samantha Ronson who was doing a set for Hawaiian Tropic Zone in Times Square. People is reporting that Lindsey partied the night away “drinking Grey Goose and Red Bull” (say it isn’t so, she didn’t fall off the wagon did she?) and dancing.
One snitch said that Linds was ” tossing her hair around and doing full body rolls – even throwing her hands in the air.” Not sure what.full body rolls are? It must mean that she was really rockin’ her oh so tanned bod!

Amy Winehouse looked completely out of it as she strolled through London last night. I guess she was on some sort of bender. I don’t understand how she would go out to have the papparazzi snap terrible shots of her. Isn’t she supposed to be getting clean and sober? (LOL) Either way check her out, take note of the half open red eyes. Maybe she is just tired?

Emma Watson (aka Hermione) parent’s made her sit through a bunch of money management lessons given by Coutts bank (who also advise the Queen of England). The reason they did this is that she will learn how not to blow her millions. Too bad Lindsay Lohan’s parents didn’t send her to get some help rather than squander her money away.
Emma just received her 20 million that she earned as Hermione in the Harry Potter movies. She wasn’t allowed to touch it until she turned 18.
I love how Winehouse is shooting a vodka shot in one hand, and holding a baby in the other! What a great mother she will make one day. I hope she isn’t too drunk, because if she stumbles and falls with that kid on her hip it could be treacherous. I can’t believe she let the papparazzi catch her slugging back a shot! She really just doesn’t care what people think anymore. Then again Amy has worse problems than alcohol.

Pete Wentz thinks that there are rumors going around that Ashlee is knocked up. I don’t know if I have been out of the looop but I haven’t noticed any during my web surfing. Either way I don’t think Ashlee is pregnant yet, but I am sure her baby clock is ticking considering all the others stars are having babies, almost like it is the ‘thing to do’.
“There is a witch hunt for people to be pregnant whenever they get engaged in Hollywood. This is all news to me. I can’t wait for the story about how I’m really in a gay relationship and this is all just a cover. … I mean really, this is crazy. … I mean we’re engaged, that’s true, and happy about it.”

Michael Johns was booted off American Idol this week, and I have to say I have never seen everyone look so shocked.
All the candidates, the judges, and a lot of the staff were all shocked that Michael had the lowest number of votes. I personally didn’t really like Johns but there was worse out there. Personally I don’t think any of the girls are good this season, I am rooting for David the young one and that rocker guy who is slightly going bald.
